How weird. One Word was totally OFF the chart yesterday when I checked in the afternoon.

ETA: You must need a minimum of 7 spins to stay on the chart, because that's the lowest number spins I see on the recurrents.

I have been playing the ONE WORD video on KZZP. I don't know if this has anything to do with them playing ONE WORD but played it again a few times. I'd suggested this w/ WFY when the video appeared on a "New Music" headline banner on an AAA format station. I wasn't met w/ much support here but I still think it is a good idea to stream videos on their websites.

If I find the video anywhere on the website I play it.. they may put them on the site to check what people want to hear. I just hope we can get some kind of airplay and this seems to be what we have as an option for now. I will try any avenue and hope we come accross something that works to get this song off the ground . Elliott believes in ONE WORD and that is enough to keep working on this song.

I know that in the SF thread in OTR we often talked of streaming Elliott's WFY video at various regional radio station websites to ensure that if anyone was paying attention that WFY would have a spike in "views."

That being said, I'm on the fence on whether running multiple sessions from a single computer is a good idea. If anyone is looking at views, there's also a chance that they can track the source IP address of the computer where the "click view" came from. So, I'm running single sessions when I stream.

I got through twice yesterday to two different DJs. The first said, "umm, I'll see what I can do" and the second said, "I'll try to get that on for you." I went to KZZP's play list and found OW way down at #178 on their playlist, but couldn't find if they actually played it either of the times I requested yesterday. The first time was around noon and the second time around 9pm. I know we have a link here to check on this stuff. I tried the station lookup button, but that wasn't it. Someone want to remind me where to look?

KZZP did not play OW yesterday.

Darn. But you know what's funny - after both times I requested OW, within an hour they played WFY both times. (Not funny-hahah, but funny-aghhhhhhhhh!)

They love Wait For You.. I know One Word is just as good... I have listened a zillion times to One Word and it still sounds great....

At KZZP, what they did with OW a couple of months ago was play it 2-3 times per week, once per night during a new music show on weeknights. On this show they play ONLY new songs for an hour (9-10 Arizona time, I think).

It's worth calling in during the hour before that shift. I'm guessing this is when they've been playing the song.
