I hope this hasn't been posted here before but I just took this somewhat detailed quiz that asked you questions on many important issues. The results shows you how you compare on these issues and which candidates match you views the most.

You can find this quiz at this webpage.

This is interesting. No matter how I answer, Barack Obama comes up as the guy close to my thinking. Who runs this anyway?

Mine came up 69% Clinton. I thought I was closer to Obama ??Now I'm confused.

It's just gotta be Obama!!! :winneris:

These tests are confusing to me. On this particular one, the candidate it came up with for me was Mike Gravel. While another called the candidate calculator told me my pick should be Dennis Kucinich. I think the parametrics for these tests are all different and can produce vastly different results from where you are in so far as candidate support.

I re-read the questions and tried very hard to answer the way I should have-- now I am 75% Obama. I feel better for some reason. I like Hillary, though, but I guess I just was surprised by my first result.

77% Hillary and proud of it!

Wow, that quiz confirmed what I'd been thinking. Thanks for the link. :)

I got 81% Huckabee. I'm sure it would have been Romney had he not pulled out. I voted for him in Florida, but the independents won here with McCain. Hoping McCain will pick him as VP (pleeeeease!)

I did another one of these before anyone pulled out and got Thompson.

I got Ron Paul , a republican , he must be a moderate because that is what I am.. conservative but not radically right and not left or radical at all. I believe in small government and more power and moneys given to the individual states to spend their money on their programs.. The middle class can no longer support big government with the middle class and working poor with high food cost, energy costs and the working class americans need a break .

There are NO programs for health care for the working Americans who barely make it. The programs money is spend on people who do not work at all. With socialized medicine the middleclass will again foot the bill with enormous taxes to cover it as in other countries with socialized medicine.

Too many programs and none for working people who struggle with inflation. The democrats used to be for the working blue collar americans. No more. They are left out and now the middle class americans also are headed for big trouble. They always have to pay for it will higher taxes. When the federal government gives less money to individual states , the tax burden is then passed on to home owners to foot the bill on paying higher property taxes, sales tax etc.
