You know what was so cool about it all. I was on-line to make hotel reservations for Memphis when I saw Nancy's message. I immediately start listening. So long story short, I made my hotel reservations for my trip to see Amanda next month while listening to Elliott's interview.

Fill me in until I can listen to the podcast! What did he have to say? did they play any of his music? Was he on for any particular reason?

I really hope the dreadful weather that we had in New Orleans for Family Gras didn't make him ill.

It sounded like "morning" voice to me. If he's home in LA, it was really early for him.

It appears that he was on to talk about this season's Idol. They played just a little of WFY. They did say something about him being more successful than the winner of his season. The said he and Daughtry are the successful ones from that season.

I'll bet he's just fine. Remember, it was only 5:30 in the morning his time, and the DJ said he'd been on hold a while, too, so it probably felt the middle of the night to him.

He didn't seem to be on for any particular reason, and they didn't play any music, except a small portion of WFY, but only because the dj dropped something on the controls...lol.....he sounded a bit sleepy.....they talked about AI a little, his contract, told him to make sure to give em' a shout when his new album was out. The dj said he is a VERY, VERY nice guy...they trashed Tay a bit when Elliott was gone. Elliott said Randy had his back on AI from the beginning.

I was just listening to it again. Did everyone catch that they mentioned his new album toward the end? Told Elliott to give them a call when the new album comes out. :rocker:

I was late for work because I had to sit in my car in the parking lot listening to the interview! LOL! WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE...I got in my car and the first thing I heard was "We'll be talking to Elliott Yamin this half hour"!! That was great. The DJ, Matty, loves Elliott, even though he was the one that was kind of mean when Elliott played at the Celtics game...(saying, no guys would want to be seen at that concert). Elliott's interview with Matty last year was one of the best interviews, very funny!

That's true....Elliott always said he's not a morning person.
I can totally understsnd what he means....I hate mornings too.

Nice ... I didn't have school today and this is what I find! Very nice surprise. The Matty interviewer seemed like a jerk. I'm not sure if this is right but I think he thought Elliott said s***ty when really I think E said shaddy. Matty made a comment like since you were in radio you should know not to use language like that or somethin?? I don't know but it made me mad. And I see this is the guy who said no man would ever go to one of his concerts ... W/E I went and I loved every minute of it. ... Anyway, E's great and I'm glad that we're getting to hear a bunch from him lately!

He did, I had earphones on when I listened to it. You could hear better. But I can see how the DJ thought they heard differently. LOL I can see Elliott now, sitting there going Huh! Then again maybe they were teasing E about the "shady" comment like, man don't say that we're shady on here. :rotfl:
