According to Ryan, WFY is the oldest song on the countdown at 38 weeks.
He is still #37.
Also, they interviewed Randy and Paula today, and Elliott was the only singer from IDOL mentioned being on the new Randy CD, along with Paula!
And, according to Ryan, WFY made its debut 45 weeks ago..........my, how time sure flies~~~

Wow, I had no idea WFY had been charting that long, I still hear it on my AC stations regularly.. the power of a great vocalist and the right song.

I am about to burst at the seams waiting to hear Real Love, too! I have a feeling it will be the best thing we've heard so far from Elliott. with Randy producing, it's bound to be awesome! I wonder if Elliott will get Randy to produce some tracks on his new CD - didn't Elliott mention that in an interview somewhere along the line, or am I dreaming again. LOL!

I just got a reply from a Dj that I had sent out a request for WFY.. I sent it out Oct 15th.. he said he didn't know if he answered it so he answered it... Wow.. I saw the date I sent it and laughed.. that is a long time for a reply! :elliottcap:

Did he say that he would play your request?
The staying power of WFY has been very impressive.
It will be on AC for a long time too since it's still Top 5 there.

i posted on a different thread that this morning I heard WFY on one station, then when I switched stations there it was again. I had just turned on the radio - what a treat that was to start my day. I wonder about the many many many times that I've missed it!
