Just got my Billboard Magazine and noticed that WFY has regained it's bullet and moved from #5 to #4 on the Adult Contemporary chart. This is its new peak position. This after 30 weeks on the chart!! As many here have said, the song just won't die. In fact nearly a year after its initial release it is still climbing! :elliottelliott:

He should have gotten a Grammy nomination for this song or best new artist. just saying.

The good news is that lots of people have said that, not just us. Eventually he'll get enough buzz to get nominations, and it may be worth more to get them a little later, when he's better known.

I don't know how much good it does you to be Feist, for example, and get the nomination and then get tons of articles and blogs saying, "Who the heck is that?" (not that Wait for You isn't a lot better known than Feist's stuff -- nevertheless, a lot of people still tend to know the song and not the singer., in the case of Wait for You..)

If you get them early, people will tend to think you're a flash in the pan, no matter what, but when you've been around for a few years then it's more likely to be viewed as, "Of course. Established artist gets his overdue recognition,.Well deserved, well deserved," I seems. That's what I want for Elliott. And he'll get there.
