Description: Idol Gives Back Part 2 - April 9, 2008

MY IDOL ELLIOTT - February 9, 2008 02:54 AM (GMT)
HI Y'all. At Backstage at the Grammy's the other day in Elliott's new interview he said he will be back on American Idol with Idol Gives Back part 2 on April 9,2008! Elliott will be in Angola, Africa for Idol Gives back part 2! I hope he sings? It's so awesome to see Elliott back on American Idol! This is so awesome of Elliott he always wants to help where he can! Elliott always wants to do charities which is so awesome because Elliott is a giving person! I hope Elliott may cry when he goes to Angola because Elliott is an emotional person! I remember on American Idol during Hollywood week Elliott cried like a baby and when Stevie Wonder met Elliott at the piano on AI he was crying like a baby too! I remember last year on American Idol with Idol Gives Back Carrie Underwood was on there and she sang. Also Randy, Paula, Simon and Ryan were in Africa for Idol Gives Back! It will be so exciting to see Elliott back on TV again! Elliott also said he might stay in Africa longer to see the sights! All I can say is "One Word"Emazin! I hope every one watches Idol Gives Back! :1word: :elliottelliott: :elliottcap: :etrain: 4 LIFE!!!

I am so happy that Elliott is able to make this trip. It will be a very moving and emotional experience for him since he naturally such a caring and compassionate person. May God bless and keep him safe in Angola and on the USO tour.

What a wonderful opportunity. I have been told that seeing what is really happening in Africa will change your life. I expect it will affect Elliott too. I also hope he gets to sing.

That's our Elliott! He never misses a chance to "pay it forward". A lot of the young celebrities today could take a lesson from him in how to live their lives.

Can't wait to see him again. :cheerleaders:

what an experience that will be for Elliott!!! Maybe it will inspire him to write a song. I was so happy to hear that he will be on that show and hope to hear him sing! :friends2:

This is such great exposure for him...not to mention he really truly is a charitable person.

As frustrated and mad as we were at TPTB of AI during season 5, you know, how can we fault them now? Elliott has the best of deals, making a living doing what he loves, really much to the credit of AI. How many other of their past artists, especially 3rd place finishers have appeared on their show for two consecutive years after their season? So, thanks AI for giving the props to the best male vocalist (he's reached his potential there!) and letting him showcase his music and his compassionate soul.

I too wish Elliott and his guys safe travels.

I really think they love Elliott and now they see that he can sing "pop". The show wants to make money on the winners if possible and Clive really thought Elliott was "too cool for the room" which was really a compliment. In looking back I remember Simon often saying that Elliott had done a brilliant job singing, but that he wouldn't win AI with a song like that. They thought they knew their audience, however, a few of us just happened to have noticed the guy with the most beautiful voice in the history of the world and now others are noticing too so hey, why not support the guy who has been nothing but supportive of American Idol. I really really hope he'll be on the show, live - I know it will improve their ratings. Is the second a Wednesday - results night - they always need other stuff going on that night.

:etrain: It will be great seeing Elliott on the show again. He is such a nice guy but have a feeling this trip will indeed be difficult for him seeing the poverty that they have over there.

I do applaud the fact that American Idol is doing this type of show. Also thanks to them we were introduced to so many wonderful talents including Elliott. As well as he is doing with his independent album I bet Clive is sorry that he did not sign him.

 Thanks for posting this!
