Elliott racked up 1,600, same as last week, to total 492,000.

The total is probably 492,400 (Ken rounds off). At this rate 500K is not very far away.

That's great considering that his CD is not available in many stores.

It is not even prominently displayed in Target anymore......so that is a good number.

JMO, My guess is there isn't going to be another single. If there were, I think whoever is responsible for promotion would make sure it had a better position at Target. Just feels like they are getting ready for album #2.

I agree. A successful 2nd single would have really done wonders for sales. But I think the idol appearance in April will help move some albums as well.
It doesn't seem like there will be 3rd single so I guess gold will be where the album ends up.

While some stores may not stock it, props to iTunes and Amazon where it's always available . Stores usually won't order alot more once an albums falls off the BB200. That's just the way it is. Still 1600 albums a week really isn't that terrible almost a year after release.

When I was at Target, I noticed that most of the CDs released early last year are not prominently featured either so its not unusual that Elliott's is not.

They did not even have Daughtry, Carrie, Kellie nor Kelly prominently displayed. They have to make room for the new releases and the slightly older releases that are selling well.

Only 8,000 or less until the magic Soundscan number.
