I saw him on there...how was he on there in NY if Idol was Live tonight in LA? LOL. I know Letterman tapes earlier in the day, but still, either Letterman was recorded yesterday or Idol was. ? IDK
I didn't hear him mention Elliott...just Paula in regards to the cd. :(

The earliest rounds of Idol (when they're on the smaller stage) have always been taped the weekend before they're actually shown. I assume it's the same this year.

Dang! When Randy started talking about his album Dave (as usual) cut him off. But Randy is on Conan tonight...tivo'ing.
edited to note "tonight" for me on the West Coast is the 20th.

Conan held up Randy's CD, Randy said it's a complilation of music by a bunch of my friends. :elliottcap2: Paula's track is the only one Randy mentioned specifically.

I also saw Randy on Letterman and he was talking about Carrie, Daughtry, Nickleback, (why?) and then Paula. It would have been great for him to get a mention in of Elliott, but it seemed like he was sticking with the AI party line, and discussing the current single, which I guess he should.

Letterman was saying that not many albums are sold cuz of the net, etc and Randy was disagreeing by saying Mariah sold 12Mil, Carrie, Daughtry, Nickelback... however many million CD's each sold so Elliott didn't fit there but when he was talking about the new CD and Paula he could have mentioned him. Oh well I'm sure he'll be mentioned after Randy's CD is released and after Idol Gives Back airs. March and April.
