"Children Should Not Play With Dead Things" is a movie that was old when I was a kid and it scared the heck out of me. It's a "B" movie but still scary.

I love that movie! I screamed my lungs out every time those silver flying balls appear.
This is the scariest, IMO.

I agree I still to this day will not watch it, Pinhead gives me nightmares. LOL.
And I'm a horror/scary/creepy movie buff and have seen everything from Psycho to Cannibal Holocaust LOL.

omg- This thread alone is scaring the heck out of me!
Ever since I was a little kid and inadvertently saw Hitchcock's The Birds, I can't watch horror films. The only other horror film I have ever seen (believe it or not) is The Exorcist. I saw it my senior year of high school up on the big screen somewhere in Manhattan. I couldn't sleep for weeks.

The most frightening movie I have ever seen is hands down without a doubt...jeez...just the thought of typing the title sends a shiver down my spine...it's...
From Justin to Kelly...starring Justin Guarini and Kelly Clarkson.
Seriously ....The Exorcist has to still be the champ...I also like Carrie, Village of the Damned, Rosemary's Baby and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Awwww, I LOVE From Justin to Kelly...I even own the DVD! :woohoo: :rotfl:
I am not into gorey movies, but I LOVE ones that make ya jump outta your skin. The Ammityville Horror scared to bejeeezers outta me when I was 5. When those walls started bleeding, I FREAKED! Nightmare on Elm Street, the 1st movie, STILL scares me. I will NOT watch it alone. Period. Who am I kidden, Freddy freaks me out period. I remember being afraid to sleep for a LONG time after watching that movie.

I like scary movies/psychological thrillers in general.
13 Ghosts is another one of my favorites. The remake with Matt Lillard and Tony Shalhoube (SP?) was awesome. The only scary movie I laughed, cried, and was scared all in the same film.
Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street are classics.
ETA: Johnny Depp was in the original nightmare and Kevin Bacon was in Friday the 13th. Their first or at least early roles.

Pinhead was creepy! Doug Bradley perfected the most frightening voice of all the villians in scary movies (IMO). Just that alone sent chills down my spine. "It's time to play" was his famous line. I found it interesting that women were always the main protagonist fighting and emerging victorious against him. It marks the shift towards feminist empowerment of women going against oppression and being strong. It's somewhat philosophical- especially the first 3 films.
Jaws made me afraid of swimming in my own pool for a week :rotfl:
