So, someone fudged the poll results. This is what E broadcasted:

Katharine McPhee 16%
Chris Daughtry 29%
Paris Bennett 5%
Elliott Yamin 50%

Now, when I looked at the poll just before they shut it down, Elliott was holding steady at 64%, and Katharine had 4%. I think the E News producers doctored the numbers because McPhee was the runner-up and they didn't want her trounced so badly by the third-place finisher.

IT'S RIGGED!

E was @ 69% when I voted yesterday afternoon! This must be the same guy who tallied the AI votes!

Maybe they just didn't count all the double and triple voters when they could.

50% to 16% is still a pretty good 'trouncing'--not to mention the fact that Chris, the 4th place finisher also received 29% to her 16% according to the reported results. I can live with that. :rotfl:
