correspondent? nah, he's a singer..... we should leave that one for Sanjaya or William Hung. Just my opinion.....

I totally agree....I would much rather see Elliott walking the carpet than doing a Joan and Melissa Rivers.

I actually thought about which person in that list would make the best correspondent so I voted for Danny Noriega. Apparently, 81% of the 25,000+ voters thought the same thing. I wonder if they will really get Danny. Would be great to see him do the red carpet thing. Imagine if he interviews Simon while he's walking on the red carpet LOL I think that would be hilarious :)

I totally think Danny would be awesome interviewing on the Red Carpet. LOL Sanjaya would be my second. He's already hosting a show on TVGuide called Idols Where are they now, or something like that. I also agree with others, Elliott should be interviewed not be the interviewer.

This is one poll where it looks better for Elliott not to be #1 in my opinion. Cool that he's on the list though.

Yeah, I don't think I want to see E win this one... but lol think the Clay fans want him to win EVERYTHING. Lets see what they do.

But I find it really cool that they considered Elliott to host. Of course, the group included William Hung so you could think that they were picking the bottom of the barrel. But it does also include Clay Aiken, one of the most successful AI alumni. And while Kellie Pickler was kinda bad during season 5, I think she's found her niche and has done well for herself since. So there are some good people in that list too.

I will take it that they got people who they felt would be interesting correspondents. And Elliott does have a great speaking voice and a great personalit so I'm sure that if he ended up being a correspondent he'd do a great job.

LOL I was just over there for something else and voted for Danny to see what the vote was and Clay is gaining on Danny. Last time I was there Danny was 80% or better. Now he's 58% and Clay is 32%. Lord! :rotfl:

Personally, I think Kellie Pickler would be a hoot on the red carpet! She did it for Jay Leno, I think, a couple months after she was booted & had me laughin so hard I was crying!! She is prolley too big of a celebrity to do it now tho....in that case, yeah, Danny would be funny to watch interviewing on the red carpet.

I have to agree with you. Kellie has such a great personality and is very engaging to watch. She'd actually be my 2nd pick, right behind Danny.

Mine too. She was a hoot on Jay Leno. Danny was good on Idol Tonight last week, very entertaining.
