Me too Linda! I think that might be THE proudest (so far )

I was so overwhelmed with emotions. I think one thing that made it so emotional was that he was being introduced to an entirely different audience. I was just so proud, I felt like I could burst. I was listening to this in my car today, and I was thinking, can anyone today REALLY sing this great LIVE? I don't know of anyone and I mean that sincerely. I listen to his voice so much that in a small way I get accustomed to hearing it, and then BOOM, it strikes me out of no where....like I am hearing it for the first time. He is just the most amazing singer.....simply amazing.

I agree with everyone, elliott definately moved me that night. I was just so proud of him! But, I can say I have never not been proud of him. He is destined to always be my "idol" unless he somehow changes his winning ways. (Like that will ever happen.) :1word:

Wow, really loved watching that again. It still brings tears and goosebumps. The emotion and passion really come across in those songs in that wonderful setting (and he looks darn cute too). Thanks for posting Linda. :awe:

This really was an amazing performance - Elliott was born to be doing these kinds of appearances - just him up there performing music that showcases his voice so beautifully. Did anyone else get a kick out of seeing him with dancing girls? I just laughed so hard at that - Elliott had his own dancing girls! What a joyful time that was. Thanks for bringing it here, Linda.

I bet he thought that was funny, too! I remember hearing just recently ( I can't remember if Elliott or someone else said this) that he played pool in the hotel with Tony Danza and Tony had Elliott singing MMFL for him and the dancing girls!!!

Thank You for posting that video.!! I had it on a tape and it broke so I have not seen it in awhile. It is probably my most favorite and proudest moment for Elliott. He was so happy and confident that day on the 4th. He beamed from ear to ear throughout the whole performance and seemed so genuinely happy to be there. I went to see him in Columbia, Mo last fall and I gave him a "love letter". In the letter I told him that I thought the brunette dancer was just a little too hands on and that Jaime might not like it. Watch it again and see if you agree. Thank you again for my lost favorite.!!

I AM WITH YOU ON THIS ONE LINDA. I WAS BEAMING WITH PRIDE FOR 2 DAYS AFTER THIS PERFORMANCE. HE IS THE MOST AMAZING SINGER TO ME ALSO AND I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT NIGHT. HE LOOKED ADORABLE. :elliottelliott:

:chloe: 4LIFE

I think he talked about that in the interview at the JDRF Gala. I might be wrong.

I didn't think the brunette dancer was too hands on, she was just doing what she was supposed to do. Besides, Jaime was there, we just didn't see her. :)

MOMster - March 24, 2008 06:21 PM (GMT)
she probably couldn't help herself!

SoulMusicRocks - March 29, 2008 01:19 PM (GMT)
Ahhhhh it brings back memories of summer! (It is 32 degrees outside right now :-(

He did awesome that day.....well every performance is as good or better than the last.

I remember that's all I cared about last 4th, and how excited I felt for him. Thanks for putting up the video and it's of high quality. I'll enjoy revisiting it.
