Yesterday afternoon my daughter and I were in NYC to see a show. It was a beautiful day, so after the matinee, we decided to walk around the city for a while. We made our way to Rockefeller Center Plaza. We were walking on the pavement towards the overlook to the ice rink and I wasn't paying attention and stumbled coming off the sidewalk. I nearly fell, but didn't. I startled a young woman sitting on a bench right next to where I stumbled, and it wasn't until later when we sat down on a bench across from her that I realized that she was with Neil Haskell from SYTYCD. I loved Neil on that show.
Now I'm thinking that it's too bad I didn't fall, because he probably would have helped to pick me up! Anyway, we watched him for quite a while (out of the corner of our eyes, of course - we didn't want to stare too much). After about ten minutes, he walked her to a nearby building and then left alone.
There was quite a large crowd in the Plaza and no one bothered him. I'm hoping he's in a show in the city because he is such a great dancer.
Later on, my daughter fell crossing a street. A man picked her up and supported her to the sidewalk, made sure she was okay, and then went on his way. We sure are a couple of clutzes!
Great story, CFans. I'm sorry you're a clutz. LOL I liked Neil as well.
