It's to Phil's credit that he was able to come out with a CD in a relatively short time compared to the others of his season. Look forward to hearing it, even though I think his voice is more versatile than for country exclusively.
Loved him on Idol, love his pre-Idol music, but I don't know if this stuff is my cup of tea. Hmmm...I may get it, may not. Totally depends.
Thanks for the link. I hope that Phil will have success with his CD. I'm into country music so I probably will never hear the song on the radio but I hope to catch him singing the song on some TV shows.
Okay, Phil seems like a nice guy, and I hope he has success with his album and all that.
But when he gets to go on the Today show to push his new album, I still get really really annoyed about the the big-media blackout of independents like Elliott. Nothing against you, Phil, but it makes me grind my teeth.
(Also tells me -- as if I didn't know it already -- that the staff of the big networks don't in the least exercise any independent judgment, not for entertainment news of any news. They do what the corporate masters want, period. If the best album ever made came out on an independent label, they wouldn't put it on their show, because doing that might undercut big media period. Similarly, if the corporate bosses want this or that spin given to political or economic events, then, hey, that's the spin we're shown. Argh.)

I agree! Phil was my fave guy on Idol last season. :)
