It's near the beginning of the show. Yet another "glimpse" of our boy! :awe:

Linda4Elliott - April 10, 2008 11:18 PM (GMT)
YAY, thanks EEEEvon and Sk8888.....it airs at 7:30 here. Inside Edition just covered the event also, but they only showed Lionel and Nicole Ritchie. I'll be watching for Elliott on ET...

harleywoman - April 10, 2008 11:23 PM (GMT)
E! News covered it as well but didn't show Elliott. Watching ET at 7:30. :)

Linda4Elliott - April 10, 2008 11:34 PM (GMT)
aawwwww.... A quick little shot on the red carpet :)

I immediately flipped over to Access Hollywood. They covered the event, but no Elliott.

Yes but it was a POWER shot. You can also see him being interviewed by a blonde right behind Fergie when they are talking with her. TiVO is a beautiful thing. LOL

I have to say motherhood agrees with Nicole.

LOL Linda. I don't know how I ever got along without my DVR. Two quick shots of Elliott....better than nothing.

Yes it is a beautiful thing Harley. I blinked, so if it wasn't for TiVo I would have missed him.

Guess I have too much time on my hands lol. Here's a video clip of Elliott on ET tonight for download. It's all of 3 sec. I missed the second one Harley is talking about on recording.

Actually a photo capture would have done it, but we saw a bunch of them :)

There was just a very short clip of Elliott on the ASCAP red carpet on Hollywood 411 on the TV Guide Channel. He was also included in a brief segment on Idol makeovers on the same show. I think this repeats a couple of times over the weekend (tomorrow 1PM and 9PM Eastern and others).

Has there been anything in print about Elliott's performance at the ASCAP Awards?
I read somewhere that Steve Miller sang like 6 songs and Lionel Ritchie didn't sing any. Just wondering....

Nancy posted this earlier. This is the only direct reference to his performance that has been posted, that I can remember. I could be wrong.

Elliott Yamin, who I’d actually never heard of before but who was an American Idol rockstar, came out with an acoustic version of his hit song “Wait For You” (along with a rather off-color remark about how he was an Oreo onstage, pointing to the big black guy on his right and the Asian guitarist on his left). I didn’t expect much, but good god, it was a really fabulous performance. Acoustic guitar only, and his voice just killed, plus he was really sweet and innocent - I’m pretty sure that joke was unintentionally non-PC. My notes for that song just say “DAMN that was good.”

Thanks Linda. I'd seen that already. I was thinking more along the lines of industry types. I mean they had to be blown away by his performance, right?
