Hello E trainers, this is Bill. My SN on Yes and all other sites I frequent is Uplink2 but for some reason I couldn't register under that name at the site.
But anyway we in the Kat fan community are really excited to work with the E Train for the success of this song and hopefully bond our fanbases for the future. It is long overdue IMO.

Look, we've always had a variety of reactions to Kat on this site. I don't think anyone has suggested otherwise. I think Bill would say the same about Kat's fans' views of Elliott and the Etrain. I can honestly say that in the past a few of Kat's fans had been jerky towards me and/or Elliott, while many others have been completely nice and friendly people. Bill is definitely one of the nice guys that has always supported Elliott. And I think that, like a lot of us, he'd like to see us use this opportunity--i.e., the release of the duet--to help heal some relationships between the two fanbases.

I'm not sure who deleted the thread, and I don't know if it was necesssary. But I do hope people would understand that at present we'd like to be polite and respectful towards Kat and her fans since they want to work with us.

My post did not reflect any disrepect that I can see.

I did not say one thing related to Kat and/or her fans.

I purchased the single long ago. And I'm sure both sets of fans would like to see the single do well, myself included. I'm also set to request it when it starts getting local airplay.

But, I just found it quite hypocritical that as soon as some Kat fans come aboard with the commonality of supporting this single that some felt it necessary to delete an entire thread that has been here almost since the inception of this board.

Nor did my post claim you were being disrespectful. It was directed at a possible explanation as to why someone would want to delete the thread, if we want to create a space that seems more polite and inviting rather than bitter and hateful towards Kat and her fans. Seems like common sense.

Wouldn't it be hypocritical only if those who regularly posted negative things about Kat suddenly were acting like they've always loved her? I don't see anyone doing that. I guess I'm just not seeing the hypocrisy.

Well, I find it hypocritical to allow a thread then to delete it as soon as it's not convenient or that it might look bad for the etrain. Whether it was right or wrong in the first place, it was allowed. And I know that some that have posted in this thread participated in that particular thread.

Folks, I appreciate the kind words and the sincere desire I have seen both here and from the Kat side to put all of that stuff behind all of us. As I am new here I don't think it is my place to speak on whether or not a less than complimentary thread should be deleted or not. That is the admins call. I'm sure there are some threads on the Kat sites I frequent that I don't agree with and don't think portray Kat fans in a great light either.

But what I and I think a great many folks would like to do is simply move on. Accept that both fan bases have said some unkind things about the other performer and fans and get that era over with. Move on to a time where we can support these folks positively and enjoy the success of all. This single has given us a great chance to do that and it is one of the things I am most excited about.

And as far as more Kat fans coming here, I hope they do and show the respect for all that this woman and man I enjoy so much displays themselves.

I am cleaning out my pc Elliott radio favs and getting mediabase , all the links to request ready, every site to request or vote for the song, every HOT AC and Top 40 station on mediabase charts in Call Letter Order .

I got files of radio links , One Word , Wait For You and Holiday links I cleaned up and put in my filing cabinet..

Getting ready for Real Love .. We all have to request, Phone, Text, E-mail and I don't mention fanbase. I just am a fan..typical fan.. and let's get this song on the radio and hopefully it will climb if we all work together .

I hate to say this, but don't some radio stations still deal in the payola aspect of getting airtime for a song? Remember One Word? It was climbing up the Sirius 1 charts, jumping 8 slots in a week, and then poof! Spyder Harrison, he's the weekend Sirius 1 dj, e-mailed me back with saying that one week it was doing great, then poof! He didn't know what had happened. I have looked back and realized that the group that had been handling Elliott, Croshall, already had ties with Siruis radio. I could only feel as if they pulled the plug on the airplay of the song. Coincidence, maybe, but I think not. It was too, too bad. The song was one of my favorites. Perhaps blowing up the request lines will not work in their favor? Some stations hate this also. thanks, Brat242! I agree about treading lightly with the radio stations. You have to get a feel about how much they like calls, requests, etc. One can do more harm than good, I will certainly call and request, but I try to be smart about it.

I always wondered about One Word. I'm sure there is more to the story. It is a great song.

If anyone is interested, Ebay now has two copies of the radio promo disk of Real Love available. One is Buy it Now for $11.98 and the other is open for bid and ends in about 2 days. I'm the current high bidder on the open bid one, but I bid on two open bid auctions on Sunday and was high bidder on the one that ended yesterday. I'll gladly accept the second one if I am high bid on that too, but I also wouldn't be upset if someone outbids me.
