Yesterday I was able to attend the AI dress rehearsal. Before the rehearsal starts, the Stage Manager Debbie (if you watched IGB, she was the one who fixed the mic on Brad Pitt because she wanted "a reason to touch him" lol) tells us all what's going to happen, what we should do, etc. I stopped listening to her and started talking to the person next to me. I only caught the very end of Debbie's announcement of who would be performing tomorrow: "..And Mariah Carey will perform tomorrow!" No one cheered or anything, and she said into the mic "nobody's excited about this?" Truthfully, no one was listening (lol).

Then she shrugged and said, "well I'm really excited to see Elliott again," then, with the mic turned off (I was directly in front of the stage so I could hear her), she said: "I always like seeing Elliott."

Then I heard the people around me say things like "Wait, did she say Elliott Yamin was going to be performing tomorrow? I wasn't listening - did she say that? I love that guy!"

I just thought it was cool :)

Cool! She said she was excited to see Elliott even after she touched Brad Pitt. :rocker:
