Ahhh, I couldn't let this anniversary go by. 2 years ago tomorrow, was the final 6 performances show. Oh how I wish they had full length studio versions then!

Thanks Chloe! Now THAT is vocal masterclass!! I think Simon may have said that once this season, but I don't even remember remember remember which singer or performance it was, so it must not have been so memorable and certainly will not go down as one of the best idol performances of all time!! That was a magical night, from the suit and tie, to the song and the amazing vocal performance. I'll never forget the feeling :awe: :awe: :awe:

ya know, as many times as I have watched this, (and it has been MANY!) it STILL hits me like a ton of bricks, every time. It's one of those moments that you never forget where you were, exactly what you were doing...etc.

Thanks Carol, my day needed that memory in a visual! Ha! I know I am not the only one here that can just see a picture of Elliott and can tell what "song night" it was, just by looking at what he is wearing! Happy Anniversary To Elliott and US!! :hooray:

Thank you for finding that and sharing it with us. It gives me tears to watch that - I am hoping that his next cd is one big master class after another. He certainly has a vocal gift.
I sure am missing him on the show - david cook is pretty good this year but no one comes close to E.

Oh Chloe - I know... I would kill for the studio version of so many of Elliott's performances.. darn it!
