Yahoo seems to think Clay has done another extreme makeover.

I don't know. Just listened to a song on Yahoo Music where there's a new video and I think Clay looks like Clay.

He has always looked like his mother to me, and the suit puts some meat on his bones that aren't really there.

What do you think?

Clay looks the same and he is singing really flat when he is singing the words "can't live" .. sounded bad to me... I dont' care for Clay's style of phrasing . It is just like the original or his phrasing is like broadway over the top, I don't like his tone either. Sorry to any Clay fans, JMO

I agree on the "can't live....." portion of the song.

But I have no singing background, so I thought maybe it was just bad audio.

It's not that I just don't like Clay or anything, because I do think he can be very humerous at times. He even sings rather well on a couple of songs. I just find his singing too scripted. No ad lib type sounds like Elliott... growls and extra "hmmmms" that Elliott puts in his songs. Clay sings the words but doesn't add any real "soul" into the songs he sings. JMO. :elliottcap:
