Stevie would have been awesome! Great interview, thanks. I felt the same way on Tuesday seeing him in the audience, like dang that could've (should've) been E!

I've read about that. Stevie said yes to Elliott too!! :D Too bad he couldn't make it...I would have LOVED to see a Stevie/Elliott duet. :( But I'm hoping there might be a colloboration in the future and they could still record a duet together, that would be so awesome!!! :woot:

Thanks for the link. I'm glad Lenny Kravitz didn't work out. I don't see him and E doing a duet.

Oh, thanks for the article EC. :) I liked the duet with MJB (although a lot of you did not) so I'm glad it worked out with her.

T-D: When you were watching Taylor and Katharine McPhee on the stage for the final time Wednesday, did you have a twinge of "That should have been or that could have been me"?

Yamin: I'd be lying if I said I didn't, especially Tuesday night when I was in the audience. There were a few moments [during the competition] when I thought I came really close. But that's a good feeling, not one of regret. Everything happens for a reason.

But, of course, there were flashes that it could have been me.

I'm glad he's letting his true feelings come out, finally!

Heck, I was even thinking I could have been in the finale after Kat's first performance... At least Elliott manages to speak the truth without getting his foot stuck in his mouth unlike a certain other contestant...

I had a feeling that Stevie would not have been on American Idol Wednesday night because he was going to be in Lansing on Thursday for a Hall of Fame induction, but it is nice knowing that he wanted to perform with Elliott.

As much as I like Lenny, I am glad it was Mary J. I think their vocals were so great together.

:thud: OMGoodness...If Stevie and E had performed together, this sistah right here would have had some definate "thuddage" going on! :thud: But I did like the duet with MJB (although I think she was a little hoggy that night, but whatever...! E enjoyed himself and that's all that matters!)
