Is it just me or does anyone else think TRAINWRECK could be a huge hit? I have friends who dont like Elliotts kind of music, but everyone seems to like this tune. Its my favorite on the album and the most unique in my opinion and I wish they would have released or unleashed it to the world. If only he had sung this on AI and not Free...Trainwreck is a sleeping giant!!![SIZE=7]

I agree - it is sensational!

He sang Free on AI because it has significant meaning to him. I don't think Trainwreck would have fit with paying tribute to his mom. JMO

I've said it since the first time I heard it; it's the gem of the whole disc and it's tragic that nobody but his fans who already own the CD will ever hear it.

Always my favorite song on the CD. I wonder why it was never released as a single? "I gotta be honest with ya baby, I knew right from the start" makes me crazy every time I hear it. That voice is truly unbelievably great.

I haven't posted in a while but couldn't let this one pass...I agree wholeheartedly that TW is probably the best written, produced and sung tune on the CD. I'm thinkin' they didn't release it because it is too "old school"?? I just don't know any more what is considred a sure hit. Who knew that WFY would be the huge and long lasting hit it is! Most of the stuff I hear today is so repetitive and just plain baffling that I'm left scratching my head. But TW now, THAT I understand. Every. Word. And yes, as far as I'm concerned, it would be a hit. :rant:

This is my most absolute favorite song on his CD. I am not expert at all on radio, but I just wish they would test it in some radio format.--even if it is not Top 40

But, I get to listen to it, so those who have not bought the CD are missing out on the best song, imo, on his CD.

I think regardless whether we like TW or not, TW iportrays a unique side of Elliott not heard elsewhere on the CD.
Once, there was ILYMTYEK, but that one wasn't recorded. Maybe next album?

I agree about having it released as a single. TW is such a soulful groove. I could see it as a hit on varying formats (maybe A/C, Urban?). It would definitely aid in sales in this period before he releases his 2nd album.

I love all the songs, Trainwreck may be too old school . I love Alright. Elliott just makes it happen and I love the music to it as well. I also love love You take my breath away , also old school but I think it is a great song.

Yes. He neds to put uot something that is a little different that WTF/OW. Free doesn't have radio potential IMO. Trainwreck or Alright would be my choice.
