Title: Elliott Is Anything But General, But
Description: Random discussion thread under news

Could we have a random discussion thread under the "updates and news" while the updates and news items are slim? I could ramble on for days about Elliott, but since I don't really have news I don't post much. Real news is great and I know that my random posts on Elliott could go under "The Man" or other threads, but hey, I'm lazy and I need something to catch my interest right away at the top of the page. When the news is hopping again the thread could move. My mind is very random, I'm sorry, but all this order is difficult for me sometimes. So here's my random news: last night my DH and I ate outside on the patio - he got very relaxed from drinking most of the bottle of wine and actually said, "Hey, what's going on with Elliott?" I gave him updates and realized that lots of stuff has been happening since he last asked. I told him about the CD coming out late this year, about the "Inspired by Diabetes" culmination event, about various private events, about the sensational trip to Japan and all the interviews and the great sales there - I reminded him of the Montel program and said it had been rerun - he'd watched it and even teared up a little. I had already played the "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" song and "Real Love" which are really great - I dug out a picture of Elliott and Jaime taken at the ASCAP awards and he once again lamented about why he wasn't a "singer" (meaning that he's impressed by Jaime). Anyway, lots of news.

I just noticed that there was a site news section and a place for comments. Now see, I goofed up - could this be moved there - people are just incorrigible (especially me). You know how when you want your guests to start going through the buffet starting at the left and they start at the right and complain about where the napkins are and they could have found them first thing if they'd started at the left. Anyway, it's about time I got into how to navigate this site because I go to it everyday (everyday for 2 years). Speaking of "rocket science", are they still sending CD's to stores because I'm having trouble finding Elliott CD on many store shelves - maybe they've made and sent all they plan to (random, much?). The CD's in Japan are somewhat different, aren't they?

imthesame :rotfl: about the napkins.

I believe the best place to start when looking at this board is the home page.

Which is http://www.etrainstation.com I bookmark that page :)

Then you might want to try "Today's active Topics" bottom center.
http://etrainstation.com/index.php?act=Search&CODE=getactive (I believe that link should work)

Or My Assistant at the very top right... "todays active topics"

Besides your favorite forums, I think that's the best way to see what's going on here. JMHO, but if things aren't organized, they get lost, or well just not seen. Lots of cleaning up here, hoping it will be easier to get around.

I like your post at the top... Elliott sure has been busy.

Hello.  I'm new to etrain as a poster, but not as a fan. I tried to post once before a couple of days ago, and I must have done something wrong--maybe got it in the wrong threat--but I never saw it posted.I love Elliott with all my heart.  My hubby and I have been fans since the first time we heard his wonderful voice.  There is no one on earth as remarkable as Elliott.I recently figured out how to sign up for etrain and for the AI forums, but I'm still working on perfecting it.In any event, if anyone can tell me where my post went, I'd be grateful. My best to everyone.
