Ditto. Even though I'm pretty much just a lurker, I've been praying for her too. And thanks to HarleyWoman for spreading a prayer chain on myspace also. Amanda can't get too many prayers.

Is there any news?

I don't want to send everyone into a crying frenzy as tears are streaming down my face as I write this, but this is so appropriate that I just have to do it. I have to leave in a short while to attend an enrichment class, but before I do I'm going to buy this song and put it on replay all day. To me it is a prayer for Amanda. All publishing royalties go to St. Jude's. Leaving this web site open all day will also have it on replay.

Thanks Mar. You know Amanda got to talk with Randy Owens. Below is from the St Judes site. But what wasn't mentioned in her journal was the fact that Randy actually visited her in her room and they talked about a lot of stuff. Hello Everyone this is Paula (Tammy's friend). I wanted to give you a little update on Amanda. Lindsay and I went to see Amanda yesterday and stayed with Tammy until around midnight last night. Amanda is still on a ventilator and her blood pressure is high. The doctor has not come in this morning. Tammy will call me when he comes in and I will keep you updated. We will be going back over there tonight and I will update you again in the morning. Thanks to everyone!!! Keep on praying.

I've started a chat room called Pray for Amanda. I'll stay logged in even though I may be away from the computer for relatively long peridods of time. Even if you can only stay for a few minutes or if you just log in stay logged in while you attend to other things, please come by.

Someone was in the prova room when I went to Chat so I started a new room called Pray for Amanda. When you log in it seems that you will be in the Prova room. Click on Room near the top and choose Prayer for Amanda. This way, if there are others who usually meet in the first room, there won't be any doubt on the main topic.

the site was so busy last night, I got the server saying that there was no such website.. I would have loved to be there - any chance of a another gathering tonight?

I missed last night. I got in late from our return trip. A good idea, for a group prayer. Amanda is in mine.

I just opened the Pray for Amanda Chat Room for tonight. I'll leave it open until I'm ready to shut my computer off, which will be hours from now. There was a little confusion last night, so I'll outline the steps.

Click on Chat.

Login. You don't need a password.

When you login, you will be in the prova room. At the top, it says Rooms , then there's a text box (prova will be what you see), and then a down arrow right before the word ADD.

Click on that down arrow and you will see the Pray for Amanda room.

Click on it and you'll enter the Pray for Amanda room.

If you want your own color for your text, click on the last box right above the box where you enter your text.

I will keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers.

I can't for the life of me understand why she has to go through all of this. This is not fair.

I pray for Amanda all the time, and I know she is strong but I know firsthand it still really sucks.

Things have been relatively quiet today with some uplifting news yesterday. Amanda still needs our prayers. Instructions for entering the chat room are in the post immediately before this one.

I'll leave it open until at least 11 PM EDT though I may be away from the computer for periods of time.
