I sent out my e-mail requests for donations last night!

I just saw this...That is the day after the Polycystic Kidney Disease walk and I am being Baptized on Sept. 21st. I will try to make a donation towards the Etrain team on pay day.

For all those interested... Walgreens (the company I work for) is back selling their JDRF sneakers again! The shoe sales start today and run through Sept. 30th. Each JDRF sneaker can be purchased for either $1.00 or in a new $5.00 increment. If you get the $5.00 one you get a $5.00 coupon back for certain photo department services.

Once again it's another great way to support JDRF by stopping into your local Walgreens!

Fresh Market here in Richmond on Parham RD is also participating in the JDRF
sneaker campaign. I've made several donations since I love Fresh market and am there multiple times a week.

I was just up vacationing in Ogunquit (our family spot for years) before the holiday and was awaiting to hear if they were going to finally build the store in York. Might go back up there at the end of october/beginning of november weekend for a day while in boston for a football game. Going to the beach in sweats would be fun! LOL! Can't get enough of that fresh lobster and clam chowder.

As for the walk, I will carry on the torch here in Cleveland and know that Elliott, his family, and anyone else who is not here will be there in spirit. Trying to raise lots of money myself. Have not had donations yet but it's still early. Have sent many letters out.

But for the record I have sold a few snearkers at work to kind patrons. Our store has a goal of selling all 1200 of them we have. And everyone can track my personal goal with the my page that is listed in the link above.
