Please keep this in mind over the next few months where Elliott is concerned:

Elliott can talk about "contract's" but can not sign anything until after the tour is over and he has completed his AI contract.

That said.. How many 3rd place finishers can you name?
and how many of them have contracts?
The only one I know is Kimberley Locke but I don't even remember that much about her other than I liked her better than Fantasia.... I don't even who the other 3rd place finishers are. Do you?

I Know Consitine has a contract but I couldn't tell you what he sang or what he sings... .

I'm so worried that Elliott will get shoved to the back and left behind.
I mean look at what is happening with the interviews.
(I know he has the finale to reherse but he is loosing face time)

These interviews are all critical..

I already understand that Clive Davis will probably not sign Elliott because the type of music he sings is closely related to Taylors so there woud be a conflict of interest. Maybe we need make sure Tommy Matola and every other record producer remembers Elliott. People have suggested that we flood them with e-mails but I'm not sure that's what we should do.

I'm worried about this too. Last season's 3rd place was Vonzell Solomon. She was wonderful, but haven't heard anything about her lately. Don't know if she has a CD. Don't want this to happen to E!

I recently read that Vonzell had a CD that was coming out soon, but I hear ya . Latoya London and Tamyra Gray both have Cds ( Latoya's sounds really nice on Amazon clips) , but without the AI hype and name , even great singers can surely get lost.

Josh Gracin , who finished 4th , ( season 3??? ) does have a hit song on the Country charts and is doing really well .

Elliott is different though, isn't he ? I think someone like Quincy Jones will snap that boy up ! Clive is stupid to pass him us .

I hated when Clive was bragging that "his" idols sold 2-3 million cds - it just made me want to ensure that Elliott outsells all the chosen ones and sells 10-20 million . That should be our mission!

As Elliott fans, it's up to us to make sure that he is a success in the music business!

I would venture to guess that Elliott is the most popular contestent EVER to have not made the finals. In fact, I'd venture to guess that he is more popular than some who DID make the finals.

He'll be just fine.

I sincerely believe with all my heart and soul that Elliott is going to do VERY well for himself. He has a very unique sound...that rich tone, that gorgeous vibrato, the soul in his voice...and I have faith that someone, somewhere out there, is clamoring to work with such a great guy with such an amazing talent.

I don't think you can take past contestants' successes or failures into account when discussing Elliott's future...he is unique and is really not comparable to the other contestants, past or present. He is also a very determined young man, with a real goal and focus in his life, and I have no doubt whatsoever that he is going to succeed.
