Title: Longevity
Description: long term support for Elliott
desertstargal - May 28, 2006 02:40 AM (GMT)
AI just ended and there is lots of energy now to support Elliott. However, we need to keep the energy up and continue this level of support throughout the summer and after the tour is finished.. actually maybe for the next year. This is not a short term deal - we need to stay this strong until his CD is released and it reaches record level sales.
I am committing to do so. Ideas to do so would be welcome and your commitment. Anyone else?

Hey desertstargal --- How are things in Az?
You know me ... all Elliott all the time and all.
I do a couple of things to keep Elliott in the forefront.
Mainly, my blog says most of it. (See my sig below)
I tell my friends to go there to find out about Elliott.

Have you checked this post out yet?
http://z4.invisionfree.com/Etrain/index.php?showtopic=1791The Radio Campaign is essential to getting the word out about E and it's not a one-time deal. We need to keep the requests coming until MMFL shows up on the Billboard charts and then we can evaluate from there. I think this is the best promotion we can do at this point.

Well, one idea is to definately promote his single in any way possible (yes, I know that's been discussed at length, but I'm just adding it again. hehe).
Another is maybe go to the AI tour all decked out in E gear. Act a fool and bust a move for E! :bounce:
Keep this site alive, and buy his CD when he comes out with it.
Honestly, I don't think the effects of E will wear off any time soon. I have visions already of people coming out next season on AI and jacking up songs done by E, because they think they can sing it like him (eg. A Song for you, MMFL, and Trouble...and we all know they will sound like a HOT MESS probably...)

It's going to be really important as his first CD comes out. As soon as E hires a manager/pr person or whatever - I hope that part of what they will do is give some tips to the fan base on what will be helpful and what might be harmful. I have the feeling that if we go about things the wrong way with the best of intentions, we could do more harm than good - thus hopefully some tips from pros. Are any of you pros in this field?

I'm in for the long haul...however long it takes. :bounce:

Good ideas everyone. Keep them coming and the committments!
MC, your blog rocks - I've had it bookmarked for a while. Hey, you are so good at these things, would you help me out? I need to create a website and I need someone savvy like you.

Same here - on the E-train FOR LIFE !
I will support Elliott in any way possible , buying multiple copies of his cds, requesting his music on the radio, writing to radio stations about him, going to his tour concert, donating to ADA and JDRF , buying the blue bracelet on the JDRF site that Elliott wears - we should all have a blue bracelet for the concert to show support and Elliott love .
I wish there was a place to Buy T-shirts with his face on it - I know there are some that say I Love Elliott , etc., but I want one more personalized .

You're absolutely right. Let's hope that doesn't happen with E! Oh yeah, and no, I am not a pro in the field, sorry! :P

I was wondering if there are any tech-type people on our forum who might know how to get our forum higher up on search engines. It could draw more traffic to this forum.

I'm in it for the long haul too! We have to keep the boards alive, buy his CDs, etc. We all know he has a great career ahead of him and I will always support him.
ravenaired - May 30, 2006 01:44 PM (GMT)
The Elliott campaign is on and stronger!
I guess we'll just have to keep on making sure that MMFL keeps playing on the radio. When are they going to release "One"? I can't wait for the charity singles release. And those in the US -- pls support the tour. That's one way to keep the Idols still fresh, especially Elliott.
And don't forget the international support! We'e not going anywhere. Let's just keep the Elliott love alive :woohoo:
