I got an e-mail from Elliott's cousin Oppie yesterday. Here is what he said about Mama Yamin:

Yeah. If I had to read some of the stuff we say being said about my own son -- it would be weird. I'd be happy, in a way, that women see how extraordinary he is -- but no mother really wants to think about her son like that.

Don't sell us music star mom's so short! I am a member of my son's band's web forum and I do see a lot of things there, but that is just part and parcel with being a rock and roller. I'm sure Claudette will just laugh at us for some of the stuff we say about Elliott! And believe me, we are a LOT more mature than Lux's fans, I tell ya!
I mean, come on, we laugh at ourselves too! Right? It's all good! :glomp:
