That's an awesome idea, they should have another reality series 'American Idol On Tour'. It would include loads of behind-the-scenes footage and some clips of the performances. I need my Elliott fix!!!

If they recorded it and then made a DVD of the show with all that behind the scenes stuff it would fly off the shelves. They're nuts if they don't!!!

Can you imagine the pranks with the guys and the catfights with the girls? LOL

Shoot, sometimes I'd rather watch behind the scenes stuff than actual performances. It's obvious that Elliott is a great person. But, when I started voting for him, I didn't know that for sure. And, I didn't start voting until there were 10 left!! I may have voted earlier if I had more of an idea what these people are like. In my book, voice comes first, but I'm not going to vote for someone who is mean or stuck-up regardless of how well they sing.

We should add one for the girls' tour bus too... hee hee, I can imagine some of the drama that might go down there...

I imagine a pillow fight.

Heh...the guys would be a lot of fun!!! As for the girls, I feel sorry for them having to share a bus with Kat. Can you imagine?!?!?

Well see, the thing is - the girls all seem so different in personalities, while the guys are just - well crazy guys - there's going to be such a team thing with them! I Covais goes (which I don't think he does) it would be a great initiation for him!

ITA. I should have read this thread before starting a thread in "The Show". I would love love love to see a reality show of their AI bus tour. Can we make this happen? Let the Buckaneers, Chrisaders, Soul Patrol, Yaminions/E-train and Highrollers unite to make this a reality!

:yes: I so agree with your viewpoint. Their life is going to be incredibly different and demanding. That's a lot of travel, a lot of singing, a lot of stress.
But, the idea of seeing and hearing Elliott on a regular basis (and we'd all fall further in love!) is certainly an enchanting dream. :thud:

I would love to be a fly on that bus. It would be so cool and enlightening to actually get to see all their true personalities. My guess is with Elliott what you see is what you get, Taylor is probably a lot different when he not around the camera, Chris smiles more than when he performs, and is more fun. Can't figure out Ace or Bucky.

Remember Kevin was #11 and Melissa was #12. They will not be part of the tour. Only the top 10 are touring.

These people are already thrust into the public view to an outrageous degree and now with the upcoming tour, even more so. Don't you think people deserve a little privacy? Probably one of the few places they'll have any is on the bus. This reminds me of the worst possibilities inherent in Reality TV where your every move is on display for public consumption.

I have to classify this idea as belonging in the fan fever can and let it rest there. To me, this is where fan fever gets to be in the way of a performer's well-being and sanity. I say, enjoy E's music , go enjoy his live performances and let his private life remain that way. Just cause the technology is there and our culture's current fixation with the right-to-know-everyone's-business is there, doesn't make it a good or kind thing to do.

Season 2, they did have a tour special that aired on fox. I don't think the cameras followed them for very long. I think possibly behind the scenes for a day or two and that's it, they still have privacy throughout the tour and for the fans who cannot go to the tour they get to see a little of it.

I think if it was done in the same vein as that one Ford Pimpmercial, it would be okay. Remember the behind the scenes video with Taylor and Elliott cracking up. As long as they are okay with it and it didn't invade their privacy too much, I think it would be fun. Think of it as Surreal Life meets American Idol.

I think the "hidden camera on the tour bus" thing was more of a joke than a reality. I hope.

I would DEFINITELY watch that show! I love all the guys...they all seem like they are good friends...plus they're nice to look at (I'm not counting Kevin....he's like 3 years younger than me haha).

I wish they could do one day-in-the-life sort of thing....I don't think that'd be too invasive. I'd think they'd enjoy the camera attention, or at least not mind it. I mean really, it's not like it's the Paparazzi.

I'm sure they'd have lots of jam sessions, practical jokes, and it'd probably be a mess in there!

As foro the girls....I don't think they'd be all that argumentative! But, I'm sure there would be little cliques, leaving out a certain Katty lady, haha.

Of COURSE they deserve their privacy!

Ace & Elliott are good friends, and I think Bucky is funny. All the guys get along - that's what guys do. As the mother of only 1 son who had lots of friends, I can tell you that I definitely would NOT want to be on that bus. Nothing worse than a bunch of guys when they get together - at any age past puberty. I bet they spend most of their time listening to music, watching DVD's, talking on the phone, or sleeping.

Now the GIRLS' bus. That's what I would like to see! I bet those 4 girls don't take long to put Kat in her place. She'll be miserable when she's not the center of attention, but I bet the other girls have a really good time - like an extended slumber party.
