Title: Whats Your Favorite Food?
Outofmymind - May 30, 2006 03:39 PM (GMT)
Mine would be griskin with creamy sauce and mushrooms.
I also love
Schnitzel One of the few things i know how to cook myself.
Medellia - May 30, 2006 04:07 PM (GMT)
The pink donut. You know, that crueller with all the pick icing on it, and it isn't even technically a donut? Yeah.
I'll try just about anything, I'm not too picky. I like eating food from all sorts of cultures. Not just European and Asian, but also Latin American, Middle Eastern, etc. I really wish I had a Cuban restaurant close to where I live.
The only things I can't stand are lima beans, squash, and potatoes!

Chicken ratatouille, I haven't had this food in forever but it's one of my favourite.
I also like Manti.
And Philadelphia Sushi! Yum.

I really Middle Eastern food. My "first ex-husband" (I know that sounds bad- long story!) is Middle Eastern. - He taught me a thing or two about cooking it. I especially like the dishes that are made with eggplant. But, there are a few things that they ate that I refused to cook or try (mostly dealing with sheep heads!)
Triceradon - May 30, 2006 04:55 PM (GMT)

My new favorite from Olive Garden:
Asiago & Roasted Garlic Tortelloni with Shrimp - Tortelloni filled with asiago cheese
and roasted garlic herb cream sauce with roma tomatoes and spinach,
tossed with sautéed shrimp.

Oh cool, you're a vegan? I'm not, but I have family members that are. They cooked for me cousin and I, and I really liked it. I went on a "daniel fast" before, which was basically vegan I think.

Yay! So glad to jump on the Mexican, Italian, Indian, Pizza, Chocolate, Donut bandwagon.
For me if it's greasy, full of carbs, and gives me a sugar high; I'm in heaven.

Hi, Rainshine! I'm a long-time vegetarian myself. I know there's at least a couple of us on board this train. It's a diverse train.
On eggplant, my favorite dishes I've met so far are Baba Ghanoush, Ratatoullie and some Thai concoctions, especially with one of my favorite herbs, the Basil. Just got back from Thailand and had some pretty yummy veggie treats, especially when I found this great vegetarian "restaurant" in Chiang Mai.
gloomyeeyore - May 31, 2006 07:48 PM (GMT)
I love mexican food and italian food
luvE - May 31, 2006 11:31 PM (GMT)
Favorite ethnic food: Middle Eastern, Indian
Favorite food group: CARBS! - pancakes, graham crackers, muffins, tortilla chips, cereal, etc. Carbs are my nemesis; I am an addict.

It might be easier for me to say what I don't like because that list is definitely much shorter.
Let's see I LOVE Mexican, steak & potatoes, pasta, most seafood. I'm a pretty good baker and love cakes, pies and cookies. But probably my most favorite food is Ice Cream. Doesn't really matter what kind either. Oh, and has anyone ever heard of Rita's Italian Ice? It is the BEST!

Love Italian food, favorite is gnocchi ( potato/flour dumpling pasta) with creamy gorganzola sauce, my aunt used to make them homemade and I try to make em' around the holidays.
Yellow curry over sticky rice, if it's really good sometimes I can eat the curry like soup without the rice.
