Title: What Were The Worst Movies You Ever Saw?
Outofmymind - May 30, 2006 05:59 PM (GMT)
Here are my choices in random order.
Holy Smoke
Life Aquatic
Brother where art thou
Life (i thought that was a comedy. I was wrong)
Bad news bears (i walked out on that one)
V for Vendeta (could hardly keep my eyes open)
Hable con ella (An Almodovar movie. I wish i knew better)
ElliottCat101 - May 30, 2006 06:02 PM (GMT)
War of the Worlds... My friend and I literally cracked up at that movie! SO stupid!
nymphadora - May 30, 2006 06:11 PM (GMT)
Natural Born Killers. I really hate that movie!
oosh - May 30, 2006 06:11 PM (GMT)
Blair Witch Project. I had to fast forward it it was so dumb IMO
mcornelio - May 30, 2006 06:27 PM (GMT)
The worst move I ever saw was Plan 9 From Outer Space (1959). It was often featured on "Mystery Science Theater" on television. It was so bad, they even made a move out of the making of the movie. This new movie, starring Johnny Depp was called
Ed Wood (1994). Ed Wood was the director of the original Plan 9 From Outer Space movie.
I suppose a close second would be Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1978). There were several sequels to this travesty of American film-making including a television series that ran for a year.
Return of the Killer Tomatoes! (1988) aka "Return of the Killer Tomatoes: The Sequel" - USA (video box title)
Killer Tomatoes Eat France! (1991)
Killer Tomatoes Strike Back! (1990)
"Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" (1990) (TV Series)
File these under "Movies That Suck!"

"The Day After Tomorrow"
It insults the intelligence of anyone who is up on science. It was just full of the stupidest, most impossible scenarios. And it was supposed to be science fiction. I laughed out loud so many times during that movie.

Off-Topic: MST3K never did Plan 9. They did do Bride of the Monster, which makes an unspeakably awesome double bill with Ed Wood (one of my favorite movies -- think I've done the double bill a few times?...)
On-Topic: Titanic and Pearl Harbor made me want hit things.
And the Star Wars prequels were just embarassing.
sheila1221 - May 30, 2006 07:02 PM (GMT)
I love Ben Stiller - but Zoolander was just stupid. I even like "stupid funny" movies, but this one was over the top stupid.
Amunet - May 30, 2006 07:08 PM (GMT)
*gasp* I loved V for Vendetta!
Worst movies I've ever seen.... gosh.. lemme think... I usually try to block them out... gonna be alot of horror movies.....not that that's very surprising heh...
Hostel- Just the suckiest of the suck.
Undead- Good lord... this is the absolute WORST movie I have ever seen.
House of 1000 Corpses- I just don't understand why people love this movie. It was shitty (excuse the language) in the worst possible way and totally ripped off other movies.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)- I just wanted the psychos to kill everyone already b/c they were all annoying.
House of the Dead- Acting was bad, makeup/fx was bad, action sequences were terrible...just a sorry excuse of a movie.
Not Another Teen Movie- Lame attempts at TRYING to be funny= not very funny or entertaining at all.
Xanadu- Only reason I watched it was b/c bf got a copy for his uncle, but he already had it so we kept it and watched it. Good freaking god I want that time back that I wasted on this piece of crapola!
I know there are other movies that I hate, but can't think of anymore right now heh...

"Lord of the Rings" - that was seriously the longest three hours of my life. A close second would be "Jarhead." "Plan 9 From Outer Space" was bad, but at least it was entertaining in its badness!
CathleenSusan - May 30, 2006 08:35 PM (GMT)

LOTR Fan 71281 - May 30, 2006 11:22 PM (GMT)
Dr. T and the Woman
Autumn in New York
Gigli
These were all date movies that my girlfriend made me see. I would rather have stuck a pen in my eye.
erulesyo - May 30, 2006 11:41 PM (GMT)

CAN'T REALLY NAME THE MOVIES THAT COME ON THE SCIFI CHANNEL. MY HUSBAND LOVES THEM. I HATE THEM. HE ALSO LIKES WESTERNS. I'M NOT INTO THEM EITHER.
lothlorien - May 31, 2006 12:39 AM (GMT)
i thought Paycheck would be good since it had a pretty nice premise. but the acting and the direction was just so bad. i can't believe i fell for it.

:rotfl: I'm sorry for that...hehe...
My picks for the WORST movies ever:
1. The Hulk (newer version...my cousin and I were yelling at the TV the whole time because it was so dumb)
2. House of a 1000 corpses (WTHeck was that all about?)
3. 40-year-old virgin (Okay, I can understand a few cuss words here and there, but that was overboard...oh yeah, and the parody of the "black man")
4. Scary Movie 4 (1 and 2 were pretty funny, number 3 was OK, but this one was ridiculous...*sigh* I should've known better...)
5. Be cool (were Ced the Entertainer, John Travolta, and the Rock high when they decided to do this one?)
realitymom - May 31, 2006 02:15 AM (GMT)

*gasps*
I love 40 yr old Virgin! You don't go into a movie like that expecting it to be anything other than raunchy :P
and I loved Zoolander too. It's so stupid it's funny... Elliott in my sig looks like he's doing Blue Steel.. cause you know.. he's really really impossibly good-looking... heh
yes I'm a dork....

Well, I was kinda "conned" into seeing 40-yr-old virgin..yeah, I expected it to be crass humor, but as another poster said, that many f-words was unnecessary. Plus, I didn't like how the black guy kept acting so stupid (bad portrayal/stereotype to me, sorry). It had some funny moments, but I'm glad I didn't pay to see it (the person that conned me did LOL)
But, we all have different tastes, and that's a good thing (someone else on here said they hated LOTR and I gasped! )
zekbee - May 31, 2006 04:46 AM (GMT)
The Wedding Date. The DVD was given to me as a gift and DAMN was it a load of insipid crap.
Mallainen - May 31, 2006 01:20 PM (GMT)
Maybe Mr. and Mrs. Smith... I was so embarrassed for Brad Pitt for ending up in a movie like that.
