Well its not exactly my OWN creative dream just part of it.
Ever since i became a 3D animator, i wanted to work in the movie industry, specifically in the production of an animated movie. However the place i come from (Greece) doesn't have that kind of industry developed, so for a long time i struggled to make things work, without compromising my dream, until one day i revolted, and decided that this is one life i'm living, and i have to make my dreams come true nommater what. So 3 years ago i moved to US, found a studio to sponsor me for a working visa, and that studio also happens to be working on their very first 3D animated movie production, in which i'm very happy to be part of.
My very own dream would be to one day write a script and direct my very own animated feature film. Something that will move the hearts of everyone who sees it, and will be remembered for very long time. And one of these days i'm going to sit down and start doing it, as some ideas have been spinning in my head for way too long, and i need to put them down to words!
So wish me luck! Hopefully it will all work out well! :)

Well, I'm still young (only 14), but I really want to be a professional soccer player. My goal is to go to college at Duke University on a soccer scholarship, and be a starting foward on the US Women's National Team. I'm always outside, when I'm not on AI, or thinking about E :D, practicing my soccer skills to help achieve my dream.
Good Luck to everyone else trying to achieve their dreams!!!

I have gone back to college (in my thirties) to get my Business Degree. It's someting I've always regretted passing up way back when. Now that the kids are getting older, I just decided it was time to do this for me.
My dream job would be to manage my stepson's rock band, LUX, which I am totally devoted to!
Maybe I'll post a message asking for the E-Train to pull up to their website and take a listen? Would love to get feedback from true music lovers with impeccible taste in talent like the Yaminions!!

I envy those of you who know what your passion in life is. I'm still trying to figure it out.

How old are you? Even though I have pursued my passion as far as I can, I am running out of energy. I am 52 years old. AT least I can say I followed my desires and dreams no matter the outcome. Open up your heart, see what it whispers to or tells you

Hey All,
I have always had crazy dreams! I have always wanted to be a singer and aN ACtress too! But moreso, my biggest dream is to one day earn a record deal so that I can sing all of the songs that i have written so far! I only have 31 original songs that I have written so far, but eventually I'll wrie some more songs too! I am extremely obsessive-complusive about my songs, so it takes me a long time to finish writing them! They have to floe perfectly, or as close to perfectly, anyway, before the song is completely finished! lol! I throw all of my passion into writing these songs! And into singing too! I love to sing! I know that i have some talent as a singer, but I'm just not positive how much talent I actually possess though! I am very good at karaoke, but that may be all though! I hope not though!
I haven't really been trying to pursue my dreams yet lately! I have a terrible case of stagefright, and have had this stagefright, since I was about 11 or 12years old! I am also very shy! But you know what, I am almost 25 years old, ( I will be 25 in july), and i can't wait much longer to try to pursue my dreams, or I'll be too washed out! lol! So, I am thinking of auditioning for American Idol this summer! Wish me luck, because I will need all of the luck that I can find! lol!
oh, by the way, I have some of my songs on my myspace page! Please, feel free to check them out! If you want the link to my myspace page, just pm me, or you can even just click on the www, button at the bootom of my posts too!

Hey, I read your songs! I really like Walk Away & Get Over It, Get Over Me. Good job!
Be careful with American Idol though. You want to sing your own songs, I don't know if they'll really like that all that much.
As for my dreams, I wanna be an author. I've finished at least the rough drafts of a few books. I'm currently on hiatus on writing books though and concerning more on short stories. There's a short story I wrote that I plan to post here eventually. I just want to get some critiques from fellow writers on a writing community I'm in before I share it here.
Whoaaaaa... I just noticed this smiley. :chriskatelliott:
It's entitled Chris-Kat-Elliott... Aaaaaaw. Kinda mean. :P

OOM, you are living MY creative dream! :D
When I was in high school, I dreamed of getting into computer animation and I wanted to attend an art school. My parents encouraged me to be a little more practical so I ended up at a liberal arts university studying accounting. <_<
Anyway, good luck to you and I hope you do get to write and direct that feature film!

Hey Amy, I'll be 25 on June 15th.
I am a songwriter as well. NEVER give up on that. The best advice I can give you is to get over your fear of rejection. It's the best thing I've EVER done. By throwing caution to the wind, I am now working with a credible musician with a very nice studio. He's putting great music to my lyrics. By the end of the summer, we will be shopping the songs around. I never would have gotten to this point if I was too afraid to...
1. surround myself with people I didn't know
2. seperate myself from people who I knew, though they wanted to help, weren't good enough to help me get to where I wanted to go
3. Ask for honest feedback from credible folks. And if none of it's positive, take a look at yourself. I know one guy who will swear up and down that he's a singer but I beg to differ and he won't accept the truth. When you can't hear when you're off pitch, you can't expect to sing as a profession.

my dream is to be a bestselling novelist and a successful music journalist (ever since i saw almost famous)...i just graduated with my MA in english literature so now i'm trying to find good work while i polish some of my stories.
good luck to the rest of you guys who posted your dreams!! :D
pinklady27 - June 6, 2006 08:48 PM (GMT)
Can you guys keep a secret? Much of my professional career involves writing (I'm a public relations director), but until now, I haven't told anyone that I'm working on a book on the side. Yes, most of my friends and family know that my ultimate dream is to be a published author (and not just in newspapers and journals), but no one knows that I already am working on my book.
ElliottAshah - June 6, 2006 08:53 PM (GMT)
i used to write a lot when i was younger, but when i got to college, i did not have the time or the energy to devote to it ... i have started writing again, but it is not easy.
i am following a dream, though, although not really a "creative" one - while i need to put this dream on hold for the time being while i get some money and life experience, i plan to move to North Carolina in 2-3 years, become certified as a teacher, and teach high school history. Bucky Covington said it best - "Chase your dreams. They dont come to you."
QTgymnast412 - June 6, 2006 09:14 PM (GMT)
I'm writing a memoir. I got Chronic Fatigue Syndrome a couple years ago, and so I'm writing about my struggles with my family/friends and my favorite sport, basketball (which is Elliott's favorite sport too! I love the lakers, like him, and the Sixer mainly because of Iverson)
Anyway, I plan to get it finished this summer.
QTgymnast412 - June 6, 2006 09:15 PM (GMT)
Some of my poems were published in magazines when I was little, if that counts for anything. :rocker:
