Title: Whats The Best Decade Of Them All?
Outofmymind - May 31, 2006 11:04 PM (GMT)
For me its the 80s hands down. The cheesiest and most colorfull decade of them all. If i could turn back time i'd definitely go back to the 80s
mvemulap - May 31, 2006 11:06 PM (GMT)
I would go with 80's music wise :P.
elliottsbabe - May 31, 2006 11:23 PM (GMT)
Wooo! I was born in the 80s.
BUUUUT I like the 50's and the 60's. Best music for me. Then again, I am an Elvis Presley fan.
zilabella - May 31, 2006 11:26 PM (GMT)
i was born in 86, but seriously the 70s seemed awesome!
Berkana - May 31, 2006 11:36 PM (GMT)
The 1930's because it had the best movies, the best style, the best actress and actors.
I'm not sure about the music.
After that I think the 1970's because I'm a slight hippy at heart.
BTW I was born in the late late 1980's. LOL.
Medellia - May 31, 2006 11:37 PM (GMT)
I'm going with the 00's, b/c I don't know how I lived before the Internet, cell phones, etc!
luvE - May 31, 2006 11:41 PM (GMT)
Gotta go with the '70s. I love the music, the tv, and even the fashion from that era. I was born in the '70s so I was too young to appreciate the decade.
In my opinion, the mid-'60s through the '70s were some of the most exciting, tumultuous, and fascinating years. To those of the baby boomer generation: I envy you!

yoli68 - June 1, 2006 12:11 AM (GMT)
I would have to go with the 80's cuz that's when I was a teenager. I loved the music, the clothes and the hair styles....I don't care what people say about them now...back then it was cool....I also loved the movies of the 80's...the Brat Pack was the bomb!!!

I'm a 90's kid! (born in '84, but those next six years weren't spectacular LOL!)
KrazeeK120 - June 1, 2006 02:14 AM (GMT)
I'm a child of the 80's and it was a wonderful time to be a kid. I pick the 80's!
Maia12 - June 1, 2006 02:16 AM (GMT)
The '70s is my favorite decade. :) To me, it had the best music, television shows, and toys. Even some foods tasted better then. I am a child of the '70s so I had fun back then. VH-1 has done three "I Love The '80s" shows and two "I Love The '90s" shows, but only one series for the '70s. I hope they do a Part 2 for the '70s soon.

Me too! I was born in the 80's, too young to know 80's tv shows, fashions...etc.
But I grew up listening to 80's music, and man! what a decade! :rocker:
SylviaRebecca - June 1, 2006 04:04 AM (GMT)
I voted for the 80's, because I kind of miss big hair, shoulder pads, leg warmers, The Brat Pack, John Hughes movies, Culture Club, and the like! :rotfl:
But I also really love the 30's and 40's. Love the old Bette Davis and Joan Crawford movies, Big Band music, etc.

My younger daughter was born in 1987, and she LOOOOVES the 80's!! She is all about the music and The Brat Pack!
rainshine - June 1, 2006 04:20 AM (GMT)
I wish I hadn't missed out on the '70s... seems like such a fun time, and they had the best music, too. Being a '90s kid was pretty fun, though, so I can't really complain. :)
Amunet - June 1, 2006 06:18 AM (GMT)
I picked the 80's heh...
Can't beat the music, the spazzy 'dancing', Michael Jackson, the movies, the tv shows, the fashion... just everything
jmhender - June 1, 2006 11:05 AM (GMT)
90's..only because i grew up during the 90's and don't remember anything from earlier decades..although i love life right now...90's bring back nostalgic memories

LOL oomm....me too!
But only if I knew what I knew now.....heh heh heh. (and that my knees would finally recover from all the "dance bounce" of the time!)
I like the 30's and 40's as well.....I'm kind of a throwback in many ways. It was all about class and real (read non-mixed/enhanced) music and singing. And JAZZ! Although, unfortunately, there wasn't too much material for soprano voices....ohhhhhhhh, what I wouldn't give to have a smokey alto voice!!! :(
I loved the 90's "chick movement" in music as well. Sarah McLachlan in particular.
et4elliott - June 1, 2006 03:23 PM (GMT)
I liked the 70s because that's when I was in high school and had the best years of my life. Music wise, I don't know if it was the best though.
