Title: So Cal E-trainers
Description: Radio Airplay

LAwmn - June 1, 2006 09:38 PM (GMT)
Hi everyone! Someone suggested on the other boards that we email and/or call 94.7 The Wave to request MMFL. I thought this would be a great idea since that station plays "smooth jazz" and r&b.

Do you think Hot 92 Jamz would play it? It's an R&B song and I think it would fit perfectly for their playlist. What do you think?

WHERE ARE THE SO CAL E-TRAINERS???

These sound like good formats - go for it!

That's a great suggestion as well. Someone else mentioned "The Kost" as well. I sent an email to their "Lovesongs" dj. Let's get E on the radio in L.A.!!! :D

That's a great idea. I use to live in So Cal and they have a great station there. Good DJ's too. :rocker:

Someone else suggested 92.5 Kday and 100.3 The Beat.

yoli68 - June 1, 2006 10:46 PM (GMT)
An E-trainer from another area gifted MMFL on I-Tunes directly to the radio stations she made the requests to so they couldn't use the excuse that they didn't have the song and they played it!! Maybe if we do that it will help get him on the radio and up his i-tune sales, too.....

What about 89.9 KCRW? Their playlist is very eclectic, I would think E could fit in on at least one of their shows.

Sure! We can try them too. I think the others would be more Idol friendly, but we can try KCRW as well :)

movin2thabeet, thanks for posting the list. I'm on it. I actually listen to KOST every now and then and I've made requests in the past.

LAwmn - June 3, 2006 02:25 AM (GMT)
I've been gone all day and was wondering if anyone has any news on airplay in SoCal. If not, lets keep the requests going!! :rocker:

Do you think Hot 92 Jamz would play it? It's an R&B song and I think it would fit perfectly for their playlist. What do you think?

WHERE ARE THE SO CAL E-TRAINERS???

I love Hot 92-- visit L.A. all the time- and that station rocks-- try e-mailing Diana Steele or Rene Taylor- they may play it.

Oh-- that cheesy show w/ Art Laboe on the weekends might play it too--- it would be better to get airplay during the morning drive though.

Haha!!! Does Art Laboe play new music too? I thought he just did oldies. I agree with morning and afternood drive time being the best times to call and request.

I think I've heard him play some new songs- which is weird since he sounds totally old school. But his show is syndicated [bad as it may be...] so if he likes the song it could make it onto more than one station.

I think he'd actually like the song. It is a classic :)
