oh cool! I'm trying to go to one of the GP shows also. But, alas, no money! *sighs* I'll probably end up with a nosebleed seat. Anyway, where in the sticks? I'm in Cedar Hill.

Yeah, I've been here since I was 5.
I have to confess something: I don't have tickets. When they went on sale, I debated it and figured I wouldn't. Yeah, someone who chose not to go. It's madness! But I don't really go to concerts much, and I wouldn't have anyone to go with, so...I guess I'm going to regret that, though.

i'm from mabank...outside of kaufman...i have friends in cedar hill though.
i didn't have a lot of money for tix either so mine are in the balcony, but the nokia theatre's not incredibly huge so even balcony seats aren't that bad.

I'm in Texas! About 80 miles north of Dallas on the Oklahoma border. I tried to get tickets to the Grand Prairie show but am just too poor. :(

Hey, I'm with you...they had some tickets on sale from tickemaster, but I'm sure they are nosebleeds (they were like $12). But another poster on here said the place isn't that big, so it won't be too bad...

I'm from the Spring/Woodlands area. Mom (Texasmama)and I aren't going to the concert though because we were driving up to Austin that day and couldn't get tickets.

I'm from Montgomery, TX...it's an hour north of Houston...and like 25 miles from The Woodlands. I'm going to the second GP show, Houston (I have front row!! :D ), and the Austin show.

Damn!! :unsure: Howdy fellow Texans. I'm clear across the state, from EVERYTHING. :( I'm in El Paso and won't be goin anywhere. Hell it'll take me 12 to 14 hrs. to get to Houston and a little less time to get to Dallas. I use to live in Austin. (good 10 hrs from EP) I still have lots of friends in Austin and San Antonio. I just wanted to SHOUT OUT from the mountains, on the other side of the great state of TEXAS!!
