Elliott Yamin celebrated the end to his last three months on Fox's "American Idol" by getting takeout from Taco Bell.

"Before this contest started, I was lost. I was still trying to find my way as a human being, as an employee. Now, I feel like I've grown a lot, that I have confidence," he said yesterday.

"I've accomplished what I set out to do. I've actually followed through with something and that's not something I've been accustomed to. I can honestly say I know what I'm going to do in the future. And, just a year ago, I couldn't have said that."

Yamin doesn't know for certain what he'll be doing once his three-month obligation to "American Idol" is over, except that he'll be singing.

That's all he has left to deal with them-three months? Yipeee! Good for him. He'll get away from those vultures sooner rather than later.

I have a question...I heard Elliott say that last Wednesday night he got take out from Taco Bell and packed his bags. I know he didn't go home to Richmond, so where was he going? I figured he would stay there because he has to be on the show the next week too...but maybe they just were going to house him somewhere else in that general vicinity.I would like to know where the top three finalist goes when voted off, when still having to stay in town to rehearse for the finale. Anyone know?

I wanna know that toooo! I can only assume they get booted from their ritzy hotel, I guess they're not worthy of 'star' treatment anymore <_<
But before reading that comment , I would have assumed they stayed put.

They prob. shooed him off to some Holiday Inn or somewhere nearby .

I thought I read that they USED to have send off dinners for contestants - wonder when that ended - I know they talked about having a last dinner together for one of this year's contestants .

Well, we know Elliott likes Taco Bell - wonder if their stock will go up now ? :D
