Title: Has Elliott Been On Fox And Friends Yet?

midlolady - June 2, 2006 11:48 AM (GMT)
I wasn't sure what time he is supposed to be on.

doyaminit - June 2, 2006 11:54 AM (GMT)
I don't think so. I have had it on since about 7 am and nothing so far.

Triceradon - June 2, 2006 11:58 AM (GMT)
Earlier they said he was to be on at 8:45 EST

naenae248 - June 2, 2006 12:13 PM (GMT)
No not yet... I am taping it because I have to take my mother to the doctor but they did say he was going to be singing....... (YEAH)

smorgs87 - June 2, 2006 12:15 PM (GMT)
7:45? What am I doing awake then? I can't tell you how hard it was for me to get up for this. My alarm has been going off since about 6:30 and I just now got up. I think half of the problem is that I was on HERE until about 2 a.m. lol.

:rotfl: I'm up WAAAAY too late. When I finally get to bed, I can't sleep!

doyaminit - June 2, 2006 12:42 PM (GMT)
It's 8:42 Eastern...he's about to be on in a minute...the spelling bee kid is on right now.

designer4elliott - June 2, 2006 12:48 PM (GMT)
geez, i must really love Elliott if I'm willing to turn on Fox news. i literally had it on for 30 seconds before they made an ignorant comment.

girl: "why can we have Canadians, Samoans, etc, in an American spelling be?"
guy" "well, an American won, and that's all that matters."

ARGH!

big i digress - elliott looks so cute in this shirt!

rainshine - June 2, 2006 12:50 PM (GMT)
Is that it? That was way too short.

ShellBen - June 2, 2006 12:51 PM (GMT)
I found the question about his teeth very rude. Not happy. :(

Janizzle - June 2, 2006 12:52 PM (GMT)
Yeah, that was kind of unnecessary. Way too short. Humph.

Yeah, why do people feel the need to go there? Not necessary at all.

midlolady - June 2, 2006 12:57 PM (GMT)
I can't believe the rude comment that was made about Elliott looking like the Goatman" from Narnia by that A##hole "mancow"!!!! Said he had "MCPhever" and had to take a Z-pack.

J_sky - June 2, 2006 12:57 PM (GMT)
wow i just catched him on fox and friends and totally forgot he was going to be on there. But wow what a short interview.

designer4elliott - June 2, 2006 12:58 PM (GMT)
i hate to say it, but what was the point of that interview? it was literally like, 45 seconds long. the AI clips were longer than his interview.

and the teeth thing WAS really rude. did you notice how after that Elliott kept inadvertently covering his mouth? i felt horrible for him, he seemed embarrassed. :(

smorgs87 - June 2, 2006 12:59 PM (GMT)
that was way too short for me to be getting up at 7 am. and the whole teeth comment....i really wish people would stop referencing to that. can you realize how embarrassed/horrible he must feel during an interview like that? good thing he is very composed.

as much as i love all of these interviews, none of them are extremely long. i'm so ready for an E True Hollywood Story. lol.

Janizzle - June 2, 2006 01:00 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I noticed that too. And that radio dude was an ASS. I really hate to see Elliott get treated this way. I'm like gloomy now.

auggiegirl - June 2, 2006 01:01 PM (GMT)
Elliott looked so adorable!

I am so mad at that Mancow ass.....he's getting a blistering email from me and Fox & Friends will too.

The teeth thing upset me terribly.

When Brian asked Elliott if he was prepared to sing them out...Elliott said he wasn't...don't understand this at all. Elliott was being given a chance to sing and he didn't.

Let me add...yes, Brian should have given Elliott a chance to sing instead of just moving on quickly to next topic.

smorgs87 - June 2, 2006 01:03 PM (GMT)
what did the radio guy say? did i miss something?

He called him "Goatboy from Narnia".

i think he was taken off guard. the guy aked if he prepared a song and he said, "well, not really..." and then the guy immediately started talking about something else. I think if they gave Elliott a minute to compose himself, or said, "come on, just give us a few bars acapella" he would have done it.

i really, really hate fox news. a lot.

smorgs87 - June 2, 2006 01:06 PM (GMT)
omg. that's horrible to say to anybody. these places really need a talking to. so the RADIO guy said it? because i havent heard the radio interview from today, but i'd still be willing to email the radio station with a piece of my mind.

lindagt - June 2, 2006 01:07 PM (GMT)
OK - What is the email address for these A$$$ h$$$$ Those comments are totally out of line! I don't blame him for not singing. I hate thinking that Elliott has to learn to be tough about this stuff - he's such a gentle soul. :(

No no no...it wasn't from the Richmond radio interview. This radio guy was on Fox and Friends talking about throwing donuts and some other garbage....literally. He was the one with the comments about Elliott, but the one host, Brian said something positive, that "Elliott's taking the world by storm" or something like that.

Elliottfan007 - June 2, 2006 01:12 PM (GMT)
Yea the radio DJs name was Mancow...and he is the last person who should be taking shots at peoples looks.
Regarding the singing thing, It looked to me that they didnt tell E that he was going to sing and before he can hardly give it a second thought before moving on to the next thing. The teeth thing was stupid, Foxnews should be ashamed for that. It makes him think that the general public has a problem with his teeth, and they dont. So far the MSNBC interview last night was the best...Rita asked very good questions and the interveiw was longer than 2 seconds.

Love you E, you did great!!!! :D

I used to have Fox News so I'm a bit familiar with Fox and Friends. They have this DJ from Chicago(?) that comes on the show on a daily basis via remoe telecast at the DJs radio booth. Please correct me if it was Man Cow. That guy is really obnoxious but the hosts usually aren't normally rude. If they treated E badly, we should all email Fox and Friends. And here I was, contemplating upgrading my cable subscription so that I could get that channel.

smorgs87 - June 2, 2006 01:12 PM (GMT)
oh, so this radio guy is part of the fox network? how far in advance was he on before elliott was shown? because i didn't get up until about 7 my time (8 eastern) so i may not have caught that.

designer4elliott - June 2, 2006 01:20 PM (GMT)
to add insult to injury, i just went and read Rickey's blog about his day w/ Elliott yesterday. (which is mostly pretty awesome, Rickey sounds like such a great guy!)

Fox News is not only the most one-sided media outlet, but also the most blatantly ignorant.
(i didn't want to start a whole new thread for this, because it's so negative, but i really think we should at least write FN and call them on their ignorance.)

Did you guys catch his comment about what happened at Dayside?

"One really negative thing that happened though was when Jodi and I overheard this awful sound bite from the blonde PA of the show to one of her colleagues as the fans were leaving: “If you were born looking like that you would have thought you were doomed.” I couldn’t believe it. Everybody write FOX News Channel now! What a disgrace."

disgusting.

Mamarazzi - June 2, 2006 01:21 PM (GMT)
I HATE Mancow. We call him "Madcow"....as in disease.

The Idol contestants have restrictions on where they can sing. He was probably told he couldn't sing there - so he said no. Not his fault, really.

I am shocked the station would allow Elliott to be treated this way....they can talk to the people ahead of time and let the ones speak who are appropriate...that is very weak of them and I am deeply dissapointed. Those people are idiots and we should not take this lying down...we should all call and email Fox like rabid pitbulls. Is it www.foxnews.com?

I already hated Fox News, but now I'll never watch it again.

WTF is wrong with these arse butts? Classless pieces of crap they are. What comes around goes around.

Hello Brian and the gang,

I am so very upset with you guys. I have always enjoyed watching you guys while relaxing with my coffee in the mornings, but I won't be watching ever again.

Elliott Yamin is such a wonderfully talented young man and I waited to hear him sing this morning and you let me down. Brian, when you asked him if he was prepared, he was caught off guard...if you hadn't told him he was singing what did you expect him to say. You missed out on a great opportunity to have him sing acapela! He's 90% deaf in his right ear, sings like an angel and has diabetes and you all ask him about his teeth. What morons you all are. I am so ashamed of you. I am a 49 yr old mom of 2 sons..18 & 24 and I was so embarrassed by you all. I have taught my sons compassion and caring and they would NEVER ask someone something so hurtful. Don't you think he's had enough damn comments about his teeth? And, by the way, I think they are just fine!

AND...that damn Mancow...what a stupid idiot. Where was he raised? In a barn? He actually made the comment about Elliott looking like "goatboy on Narnia" and you all just stood there eating your damn doughnuts and didn't defend Elliott. I am so ashamed of you all.

You have lost a very devoted fan and I would put money on it that you've lost a lost of viewers who love Elliott. He's had so much to deal with in his life and you all make fun of him in front of millions of viewers.

I am crying as I type this....you are terrible people.

About that comment that Rickey overheard from that stupid woman...if she didn't make it on camera and it was an off-the-cuff remark...if he never posted it no one would know...so he is as much guilty as she is...if it was not made on the air or for publication...why publish a comment such as this one?

Elliott is so cute and so adorable...he looked like a regular guy with 5 o'clock shadow. I think she looked like a fake plastic maniquin...not like a real person at all. She does not come across as intelligent either. The guy interviewer is brighter than she is...alot.

Anyway...why justify a comment like this by publishing it anywhere? Elliott is the star and they can't bring him down...as much as they underestimate him...

Apparently the person who made the comment wasn't the host of Dayside, but a production assistant...in other words, Cue Card Manager. She's the idiot!

 I haven't even seen Fox & Friends today, but just reading about this makes me so mad. I will find out where to write a seething email. Not only about the rude comments of the DJ, but also about the teeth thing. Who asked about his teeth? Also, I did watch Dayside yesterday, and I thought the blonde lady was VERY full of herself anyway. I bet Marilyn rolled in her grave over the shallow comments of that woman. The male counterpart showed a picture of Marilyn (maybe it was her birthday yesterday?) then showed what she would look like now if she were still alive by that age progression thing they do. He said wow, she still looks great, don't you think. The witchy blonde lady says...mmmm, welllll, not really. I don't think Marilyn would be happy you showed that picture. Give me a break! Grow up you stupid cow. We are all going to age one day....we will all have wrinkles and droopy skin. What will this woman (who BTW is not that goodlooking herself in my opinion) do when all of the youth fades? She needs a serious reality check. And, if she is that idiotic to make a comment about Elliott's looks while fans are leaving the room and could overhear, she doesn't need to be in the position she is in... It is okay to have an opinion, but not okay to not have any class. Shame on her and Fox. I cant wait to write an email.

Any particular addresses you know of? Let me at em! :poke:

The vet called....... man cow needs his shots! HA! What the heck is a man cow anyway? Lots of implications here....

The media world, at least this morning's show and others, I'm sure, is showing just how superficial and shallow it really is.....Does this show go into other countries? sheesh.....

The only shred of decency on the show was Elliott, who looked great and acted great!
