Title: I want Elliott to sing......

I would absolutely melt into a big sloppy puddle if Elliott ever sang
Patient Eyes
or
Die Without You
by PM Dawn.
I know.. not really his style, but the lyrics mixed with his luscious voice.....

I want Elliott to sing "Distant Lover" by Marvin Gaye, but I don't know if I could live thru it!

Ex-Factor by Lauryn Hill and Everlong by Foo Fighters. He could make like an r&b-ish version of Everlong.

r&b of everlong...hmmm...sounds intriguing.
i'd love him to sing "we belong together" gavin degraw. the long version, not the short.
"we belong together
like the open seas and shore
wedded by the planets' force
we've all been spoken for...
what good is a life
with no one to share
the light of the moon
the honor of a swear..."
:thud:

I would love to hear ELLIOTT sing "Show and Tell" by Al Wilson (also covered by Peabo Bryson. I think this song would fit his incredible voice very nicely.
It would be really great if down the line ELLIOTT would do an album of R&B/Soul covers similar to Joss Stone's debut album, "The Soul Sessions." On AI, ELLIOTT had such a knack for putting his own spin on the songs he performed making them comparable to and, pretty often, better than the original.

I'd love that too. I'd actually want his first album to be just full of covers and he gets to pick all the songs he wants to cover.
