Title: What Happened On Good Day Ny?

What happened on Good Day NY this morning? Any word? I haven't heard about it from anyone...

I watched. It was good. Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of questions they asked but both cohosts really seemed to take an interest in E and asked thoughtful, insightful questions. They brought up the diabetes and how is it dealing with that on a day to day basis. And he just said hey, it's one of those things you deal with in life. That at 15, when he was diagnosed, it was a struggle but now it's just "normal" to him, in a sense. They brought up his picking "obscure" songs but they both made the point that they were GOOD songs and that they brought attention to tunes many people may have been oblivious to.
As I said, good interview over all, just not cute and fun like the whole Ace stunt last night on Rita.

Well it's good to hear some positive news regardless! Thanks for the recap!

I tivoed Good Day NY this morning and the 5 PM news last night (interview with questions from listeners), and it'll be on the internet next week.

Thanks Barbara!
I saw the interview... I thought it was a really good interview (nothing extraordinary, but good nontheless)... they asked him about Diabetes...he did a Taylor impersonation, they said they were so impressed because he was one of the only contestants that had almost no experience... in a year full of people with previous recording contracts/previous film and television experience, etc...
The male anchor seemed really into it. He told Elliott he sang with "so much soul." They talked about the "obscurity" of his songs, and the anchor said that even though they were obscure, they were wonderful songs full of soul.

I agree. The interviewers seemed to be genuinely interested in Elliott's talent and commented that he had such a big sound from not such a big guy.
Elliott did mention that he would work on an album once the tour was over.

Thank goodness for serious journalists! I like that Elliott is getting a balanced take from the media. :)

Can anyone upload this interview? It sounds like a good one and I'd love to see it. :D
