"Elliott Yamin has yet to land a record deal, but TMZ has learned Hollywood powerhouse management company The Firm flew the crooner to Vegas last weekend and hooked him up with tickets to back-to-back concerts by Madonna and Prince."
UM...WOW. :o Do you guys realize how HUGE this is?
The Firm is the management company that Kelly Clarkson & Clay left 19 for. And we all know how much they blew up after that. For god's sake, Kelly's new album sold 5X more than her first one, and she's got numerous endorsement deals, including the new multimillion dollar one with Ford!
So that would explain why Elliott's in TVGuide, and his little blurb in People, when there's been very little print media attention on Taylor or Kat. They're already doing their job. ;)
Thanks so much for posting this realityvixen!! :cheerleader: :cheerleader:

A source tells TMZ that RCA Music Group, which is home to all the past 'Idol' winners, will sign Katharine McPhee and is close to signing a solo deal with Chris Daughtry. Ace Young is also said to be in talks with the label.

While this is all good news for the finalists, history shows good record sales are not guaranteed. After winning 'Idol' in 2002, Kelly Clarkson sold over 7 million CDs and won two Grammys while her first season runner-up, Justin Guarini, went on to sell less than 150,000 copies of his debut CD before being dropped by RCA.

Well heck, I don't know much about The Firm. But if they're able to score tickets to high profile concerts in Vegas, just to "woo" him over to them...might be an interesting prospect. At least it proves that someone is willing to take the risk on him.

Are you serious?! That would be so friggin awesome! I mean heck, it obviously doesn't guarantee huge sucess but Clay and Kelly have been doing pretty well with them. So makes that sort of deal even more tempting. :bunny:

TMZ knows from what's huge in Hollywood. I am SOOOO excited because, clearly they think he will make big bucks or they wouldn't be wooing him now. He can't sign a record deal right now, but this is almost the next best thing!!
