Hey E-train...I'm going to Cali this upcoming Tuesday, and am hoping to make my debut on the Price is Right!
I was wondering if any of you are fans, and if you have any tips on getting on, or strategizing!

I would love to go on the Price is Right, but I never had the chance. Not to mention, I would stink at it so badly!

Make yourself as out there as possible. Be loud and friendly and just someone who they think will make good tv heh. Make one of those goofy homemade shirts with some silly message on it about price is right. The tackier the better b/c it'll be noticed more heh. Hey you could also do something with your pants too. Write all over them with some message... that should get ya noticed heh.
They pick the people to go up on stage when they're waiting in line. I saw some thing on tv where they were talking about who they look for to come up on stage.
Yeah.. I dunno if that'll get you called but it's better than nothing right :)

Hey everyone! Thanks again for all the tips...
Sadly, I did not get to "come on down" :cry: :cry: :cry: By the time Rich Fields called the last name, I was all "un-excited" LOL! But hey, at least I made it into the studio. There were so many people turned away, I felt bad for them. And I got to see Bob Barker, thank God.
Overall, I had a great time, but the waiting is crazy. Glad to be back, and riding the E-train!!! :D

I love the Price Is Right, but I rarely see it. I hope you make it on the show! :rocker:

one time i went to LA and stayed in a hotel across the street from the Price is Right studio -it was called The Farmer's Daughter. AWESOME hotel with a capital A, by the way. Anyway, apparently lots of people who want to go to the Price is Right stay at that hotel, so they had a tip sheet in the room about getting in. It said to get there at 4am. 4AM! That's craziness. I was floored when i got in late (or early, depending on how you look at it) one night at 3:30am. There were people already lined up outside! I had no idea how fanatical some people are about that show.
