I was listening to that song in the car today, and it totally hit me, it sounds like something he should sing TO AI, (AI being who he is "being saved from")

because I for one, believe that EVERYTHING happen's for a reason, but even through everything with AI, he STILL remains true to who he is, a butterfly who is ever changing, ever growing, and even more loved, then before the show. Thanks for everything AI, but um Elliott will be going on to much bigger and better things so uh...BUH-BYE!!!

That's very appropriate. He received enough exposure so he will go on to have an amazing career & life. But, he escaped before they completely got their claws into him & made him their puppet. I'm also a fan of Elton Johns.

thank you for posting this...now that i am in a more rational state i think it is going to be a huge blessing that E is not locked into working with CLIVE. I think his final performance Tuesday night was his polite way, without putting it into words, how he felt about the way AI had treated him. He knew or at least he had a suspicion that he'd be leaving and he wanted to send a message to the MEDIA AND AI!

Love the connection you made - whenever we had our prayer threads for Elliott , I'd always pray for him to be safe and then in the Top 3 , I added , if it is your will to the end of my prayer - I think God has a much better plan for Elliott than old AI !
