To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter because this is my only way to show how disappointed I am with the whole Fox broadcasting station and the people that are affiliated with your network. I know lots of people have probably bombarded you with emails and letters in regards to the “unfair treatment” of Elliott Yamin but I must do my part as a true American Idol fan (more now then ever because of Mr. Yamin) to say that I am very disappointed in ALL of you. The treatment that he has got not only from the American Idol team but also from your news broad casters has been nothing but disgusting. I watched Elliott from the very beginning come into this years show as the underdog and trust me you people made it very clear from the beginning that he would and could not be the next American Idol. My opinions may not mean much to any of you but all I am asking is that next year you will give everyone the same creditability and encouragement regardless of what they look like or where they come from. I have never been more ashamed of what this country stands for then I am now. I watched him struggle not to sing because that’s a gift that he has that NO ONE can deny but to just fit in and be accepted and that’s not by his fans but for the acceptance coming from you guys ….the media …the so called adults that feed us breaking news and life changing situations. If you want examples go back from the very begging of this season auditions it does not take geniuses to point how difficult you all made this for him. If he had gotten half the airtime that was wasted on the untalented but “marketable” contestant, he would be America’s perfect idol! I will never watch American Idol or have any parts of anything that is affiliated with fox broadcasting company again. I hope that one day you (the ones that made this impossible for him) will look back and have many many regrets because neither American Idol nor FOX will have anything to do with him being successful! His success will come from his voice his family his friends and his TRUE fans! We love you Elliott and we have your back from here on out so go fulfill your dreams and continue to be OUR American Idol!!!!
