Will Kenya Hathaway be on the tour this summer? I was rewatching when Elliott talked about her and she is really beautiful. So I was just thinking wouldn't it be great if they hooked up. I know E has a gf...but just think of the gene pool of Elliott and Kenya....that would be some talented gorgeous children. It would be something if Elliott was the father of his idol's grandchildren....maybe a little Donny and Donni Yamin. Just a thought :)

I can't lie. jelady I've been thinking the same thing ever since Elliott introduced her on ASFY night. She's so gorgeous, and he's so gorgeous, and I was sure I saw some spark between them. I think a little Donny and Donni Yamin would be precious.

Ain't gonna happen. Elliott's already head over heels in luv with (from what I've read of and from her) a very loving, strong and supportive woman. Oh, and she's very pretty to boot. :bunny: And in this cut-throat business, Amanda (somebody who's been there from the very beginning) is exactly what he needs.

As far as the Kenya Hathaway thing, I have to admit I've thought of it. She's gorgeous, and it would be pretty amazing if Elliott somehow reproduced with the daughter of his idol. :lol: then again, i'm one of those girly girls who likes to believe in fairytale romance. it's unfortunate that fairytale romances are basically a delusion. {sigh} lol. :rolleyes:

I can't remember what thread I was reading,(I get a little lost in here some times) but I remember WW posted that they had just had their 1st anniversary on May 1st. I'm sure someone could go find it if they wanted verification.

Actually, that article is assuming there will be a pre-recorded track because the past tours had it. That probably won't change, but with the success of this season...who knows what this tour will have.

If they just had their one year anniversary that means that they were only together a couple months before AI since AI tapes way befor it airs, no matter Kenya and E making music would be great.

Kenya is beautiful but so is Amanda. And.....Amanda was there before he was an idol. That means alot as far as comfort and security with a person. As for the gene pool, if I am not mistaken, Amanda also tried out for AI but did not make it. That doesn't mean that she is not talented as well. :rolleyes:

When I first saw Kenya, I too thought she was gorgeous! I think it would be very interesting if they got together one day. I'm sure they'd have beautiful, talented kids!

About the pre recorded track - I don't know - but in Elliott's interview with the Richmond music critic that was published on Tuesday - one of the things he said he would have to be doing is getting used to working with a different band. That didn't sound like pre recorded to me - but who knows.

I too, had heard that all previous Ai concerts were with a prerecorded track. I DO hope considering the CRAZY level of support and manic frenzy of ticket-buying we all did this year...AND that many of this year's contestants are serious musicians who've sung/played with bands themselves, TPTB will reconsider and give us a REAL band and BG singers. Dang...I paid $350 for 2 tickets...(a steal at twice the price, E...don't worry, I'm not griping). I expect a real band!! :angry:

I went to the tour season one, and it most definitely had a band, I remember Justin Guarini introducing all the band members. I went to season two, and i *think* i remember Ruben introducing the band, but i'm not positive. It's quite possible that they've changed it up since though - i do remember reading that the season 3 & 4 tours were super low budget. from the photos, it looked it.

either way, i really hope there's a live band. for me, the best part of a concert is the singer jiving with a band. :(

Good point! I thought I saw a live band when I saw some Youtube videos from the American Idol concert! I really hope they have one...but if not, I'm sure it'll still be great!
