I think a big part of it is, who are the more well-known singers. Big Planz is new on the music scene as far as I can tell, and I have never heard of Indie Arie.

I voted for almost all of them. I didn't vote Mariah because I don't like what she has become, though at one time she was my favourite. I didn't vote Alicia because she is a little overrated. Perhaps that's not the best way to put it. She's phenomenaly talented but she has definitely overshadowed others that I prefer. I didn't vote Big Planz because the way he flows is just not my prefered style of rap, though he seems like a super cool guy. There is really no one on that list that I just don't like.

Her first two albums are beautiful and her third one will actually be released tomorrow! I'm so glad because it's been three years since she released some new music.
