This band is currently in discussion with Columbia Records and I am hoping to get your honest opinion about their music.
The site will automatically play five songs from their debut album. Being that we are all fans of Elliott, this music may or may not appeal to you all. They are a rock band, but they are a CLEAN rock band, as in good messages, no bad lyrics, etc.
Thank you in advance for your opinions, they really mean a lot!

Well not my type of music exactly, but they don't sound bad either. I would give them a 6.5/10

I grew up listening to Hard Rock, so they sounded a bit "light" to me.
But I do like their "clean" type of music! Especially one of the songs (Sorry, don't know the name), I like the guitar runs in the middle of that song. quite melodic!
However, I am not a big fan of alternative rock these days, so you probably shouldn't take my opinion too serious. :)

LUX is defintely more of a pop/rock group. I only wish they had some of their ballads online! Their harmonies are remeniscent of the Eagles.
Anyone else who would like to listen and post yoiur opinions here would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe I should have posted this over on Chris and Ace's boards. LOL! I was hoping to get more feedback than this.
Anyway, LUX will be doing a 25 city tour later this year, so keep your eyes open for them in your area and think of me! My son is the Bass player and sings lead on one track of the CD. "December".
I'm so proud! I have a "Claudette" moment everytime I see them perform or hear their CD!
Anyone else game to go and listen to them at the website?

They're pretty good in my opinion. I don't listen to rock but these guys are good.

I thought it was decent. I would have liked it more if the vocals had a little more weight. The whiney emo sound kind of bothers me. But I'm another one of those who prefers alternative to pop/rock.

Thanks for your feedback! The guys are on ITunes as well, just put LUX in the search field.
You can listen to snippets of the rest of the album. Other than the five listed at their website, the rest are mostly ballads. That is where I think they shine with the harmonies. Home and Fly are my favorites.
Keep the replies coming! I love to get honest opinions that I can pass along to the band to help them improve!
