Title: Capturing Macromedia Flash
Description: program suggestions?

itslate - June 27, 2006 04:01 PM (GMT)
I love storing files on my computer, just in case they disappear from the web sites. You tube uses Flash. Any suggestions of a program to capture the movies here, or any other streaming video?

TIA

There are some software that can do this, but the hosted .FLV files are low quality.

Converting .FLV to other video formats

Thanks I downloaded the add on to firefox. Price is right FREE... I tried out replay A/v but they wanted $50 to do the same.

Guess in some cases I have to settle for the flv file. Better than none I guess.

You should be able to find free software from the list on the link above. I use iSquint because I do media work with a Mac, and it's free. You might also try doing a search using "convert FLV". Good luck!
