Open your Control Panel. You do this by clickin on the My Controls link located towards the top of the page.
Under the Personal Profile options, click on Edit Avatar Settings.
You may then select an avatar from the base gallery.
Alternatively, you may choose a custom image, provided they are hosted by a separate image hosting site (photobucket, imageshack, etc). Simply paste the image's url on the data field and click Update Avatar

I don't know what an image site mean. Do I have to sign up for something to use it?

You can open an account (for free) in

www.photobucket.com

or

www.ripway.com

or any other image hosting site. Just register and you can upload your photos in any of these sites.

Thanks. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I'm sort of lost on the boards. I can't find threads that I have posted on that I want to come back to. I don't want an email for everything I've posted on. I hope we can find a way to mark a post we want to come back to. Thanks for the information. I appreciate it. You guys must be working around the clock. :D

You can subscribe to a topic by clicking on "Track This Topic" on top of the very first thread of the topic. You don't have to receive emails for topics you track. Set this up by doing the step below:

I don't want an email for everything I've posted on.
  • Go to My Controls
  • Email Settings (left column)
  • Make sure Enable 'Email Notification' by default is NOT checked
  • Amend
On this same column, just click on "View Topics" to see threads to which you're subscribed.
