Ah! I know Regine Velasquez!

Amazing voice, I remember a lot of her earlier stuff sounded a lot like Mariah, and there was a problem that she had taken Mariah Carey's Butterfly symbol.

Of course I've always preferred Regine over Mariah.

I forgot about that fact. I saw him perform in San Fran - LOVE him. Apparently an awesome person (my cuz styled his look for his concerts). Thanks for the Regine links. Got "Life of My Life"? (Buhay Ng Buhay Ko...lol). Hers is much better than L. Navarro's, methinks.

Edit: OK, Gary rocks. He killed some song in that concert that was Martin Niviera(?)'s signature song. He did it kinda like a joke, but it brought the house down.
