Anyone else have some favorite websites they'd like to share?

CathleenSusan - July 1, 2006 09:10 PM (GMT)
Here's my favorite site that I check daily, it is one of the most popular celebrity blogs around with approximately 150,000 readers (including many celebrities):

Pink Is The New Blog

And this was my previous home, before I discovered Elliott on AI. It is a forum to discuss celebrities, and deals with before and afters of plastic surgery - the good AND the bad!

Saving Face

favorite Harry Potter websites:Mugglenet and The Leaky Cauldron

Livejournal - where I keep my blog
Myspace :D
Emusic - music subscription site. Mostly Indie music of all types. I pay $9.99 a month to download 40 songs (25 cents a song) and you can buy booster packs to get more downloads. It's awesome.
BlogThings - things to put on your blog for fun

Best recaps of mainly reality shows. Most of the time they're funny, but I don't like the girl who does the SYTYCD recaps. Well not the actual girl.. I just don't care for her recap.

http://break.com/
Great place to see internet vids.

http://dailyrotten.com/
News about usually morbid things you don't hear about. It's messed up how screwed up people are. I hate the mainsite.... don't go to it. Lots of real gore and stuff.

Thanks for contributing guys! Here's a couple more.

About FlyLady - So you think FlyLady can help you organize your house and your life? Maybe she can help you declutter your house? Set up your routines? Now you want to know - just who is this FlyLady person? And who is this Kelly that people are talking about? Well, FlyLady and Kelly are real people. We are "SHEs". We are not perfect, but we have learned to get our own homes and lives in order and most importantly, we have been where you are now.

Economy In Crisis here

About them: www.EconomyInCrisis.org is a website for educating legislators and the American public about the destruction of our country's industrial base, the impact on national and economic security, and the effect on our standard of living. We publish critical but overlooked facts and figures.

We compare what led to American industrial and economic world leadership with current policies and the present crippling of our industries. We then objectively extrapolate the near-term outlook and risks for our country, businesses, and individuals.

Out of concern for America's deteriorating economic condition, the individuals responsible for www.EconomyInCrisis.org donate their expertise and time. There is no financial compensation for their participation, and they support no political organization or corporate interest.

Primary Concerns

US inability to manufacture competitively
Wholesale sellout of core strategic US assets to foreign acquirers
US overdependence on imports
Foreign control of vital US industries
US trade policies and other legislation contributing to these trends

Other US Economic Issues

Foreign financing of vast majority of government debt
Outsourcing manufacturing, research, and design
Transition to services-oriented economy
Declining scientific, engineering, and technological prowess
Wealth shift into less productive assets
Record levels of personal, government, and trade deficits
Misleading commonly used economic statistics

Mission

To help legislators and the American public become aware of current and potential risks of present economic trends. Present unique articles and facts revealing how the US economy is being drained by foreign competitors and how our standard of living is being diminished. Utilize mass media, the internet, and press relations.

US industry must be vibrant and healthy. US manufacturers must be able to produce competitively. Our government should not rely on foreign sources for financing. Our people should not obtain most of their needed goods by selling title to our wealth-producing assets.

We Believe

"Free Trade" systematically destroys our ability to produce products competitively
Stronger regulations should be put in place restricting foreign purchasing of US companies
Economic policy should be derived from facts and results not merely theories and blind faith
As citizens and consumers we have the power to effect change
We need grassroots support of our citizens regardless of political, social, or religious affiliations
We need true political, corporate, and industry leadership and patriotism to preserve and foster the strength of this country, its citizens, and it industries
