Who all has seen it and what did you think of it?
It was just okay for me, but I'm not the biggest fan of the earlier movies, either.
I'm not going to discuss all the spoilers aspects of it unless other people want to, but I will say this much:
the poor doggies!!

Hopefully that didn't ruin it for anyone. LOL

I liked it. It was a good super hero movie. Sure, there were some things that kinda bothered me, but all in all I thought it was great!

Oooh I can hardly wait to see this movie. Kevin Spacey is my ALL-TIME favorite Actor. I have heard mainly good to great things about it so I am hopefully going to see it soon. I never go to the theater to see movies anymore, I usually wait and buy them on dvd, but for this one I am definately going to treat my mom and I to a night out and go see it on the big screen!

I saw it and I loved it, but I love Superman in general. I wasn't sure if I could go because Chris Reeve is my Superman since the original ( 1&2). After seeing Brandon Routh being interviewed, i thought he was down to earth so, I decided to have an open mind, and I enjoyed it.

i just got back from seeing it...i really dug it...but i've never seen the original superman movies so i have nothing to compare it against.

and brandon routh...rawr baby...that is one gorgeous man!

Like Shelia...wasnt sure if I would like anyone but Chris Reeve as Superman...but Brandon was awesome. Even sounds A LOT like Chris...kind eerie. But a wonderful movie!

I just saw this movie today and I loved it.
I think a different actress should've played L.L. but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed the movie... and I'm not even a big Superman fan.

I still need to see this movie. It sounds like everyone pretty much liked it so far.

I think Kate Bosworth did a really good job, but if I was going to pick someone else, I would've picked Rachel McAdams..

My favorite Lois Lane is Teri Hatcher before she was a Deperate Housewife... Margot Kidder was good too, I missed Lois' feisty attitude... but then the single mom thing comes into the picture and she's softened a little.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that the new Supe is very dreamy!There were times he really reminded me of Chris :wub:

I have no idea who else should've played her... just not the skin and bones that did.
She's a good actress... but all I could think of when it showed her was how painfully thin she was. Looking like a bobblehead isn't a good thing people! :P

I saw the movie on Monday. I thought it was really good. I'm a HUGE fan of the Christopher Reeve Superman movies ( I practically know the first one by heart). I thought they did a good job and if you are familiar with the earlier movies you might have noticed that they took quite a few lines and put them into this Superman movie. I thought it was a great way to pay homage to them.
Brandon Routh did a good job. He's quite a hottie too. I watched "One Life To Live" when he was on a few years back and he looks a lot better now! Check out this pic from 2001!

Wow, Rachel McAdams is who I also thought would have been better in the LL role.

I frickin' loved this movie. Even my mother, who is a Christopher Reeves groupie admitted that Brandon did an awesome job.

That plane scene was spectacular! And man, oh, man do I love Kevin Spacey. He really disappeared into the role as Lex.

Not to exagerate, but Superman Returns has been the best movie for me this whole year!
